Lord of The Curry Posted August 15, 2005 Report Posted August 15, 2005 Go dig up dirt on him and share it with us! OR Be really creative and lie. Either way, entertain us.
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I remember a thread a while back saying WWE was nixing VHS tapes by the time WrestleMania 21 was released. Since then, I've bought Backlash 2005, Judgment Day 2005, and Vengeance 2005 all in VHS format at FYE for $8 each. Viva La VHS!
CanadianChick Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Why would males (or females, I suppose) buy Diva videos when you can see the photos on the internet? I mean, that is why they buy the videos, right? I'm sure it's not for the diva's winning personalities.
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 At least ya got some nipple action from the first couple. I don't care what anyone says though, the Nitro Girls Calendar video was hot.
humongous2002 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 I guess that there's a lot of lonely people out there that are in need of these Diva videos.
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 16, 2005 Report Posted August 16, 2005 Yeah, I have some of them. But I'm kind of a completist:
Spaceman Spiff Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Hey, where's everyone's favorite airhead Maria been? She hasn't been on the show the last 2 weeks, maybe even the last 3.
Team Angle Pusher Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 She was on RAW not this week but the week before in a interview with Rob Conway and then Viscera came and he started singing YMCA.....
Guest Evolution Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 She was on RAW not this week but the week before in a interview with Rob Conway and then Viscera came and he started singing YMCA..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Didn't see this. Is this as funny as it sounds?
MillenniumMan831 Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 She also interviewed Rene Dupree last week on Heat.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 I think Maria spends more time in OVW or something. I saw a report that had her announcing.
Guest Rrrsh Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Maria is easily one of my Top 5 charicters on the WWE.
King Kamala Posted August 20, 2005 Report Posted August 20, 2005 Yeah, I have some of them. But I'm kind of a completist: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Boy, for your sake, I hope that shelf never falls down. "Local man crushed by large collection of wrestling videos!" would make for a good headline though.
DrVenkman PhD Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 The Bobby Hennan SummerSlam predictions are funny though people without a sense of humour might get mad at his comments about the Eddie/Rey match ("I think this is a very dangerous match. Do you realize there could be 40 or 50 guys running up that ladder? Then again, it’s Guerrero and Mysterio, so it’s only a 3 foot step ladder"). Foley's interview is good too as he did it from a "real" standpoint and mentioned turning down a program with Flair last year while discussing the Edge/Matt deal.
Guest FromBeyondTheGrave Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 I'm bored...here's my guess at the Unforgiven card... WWE Unforgiven WWE Title Match John Cena .VS. Kurt Angle. WWE Intercontinental Title Match Carlito Carribean Cool .VS. Rob Van Dam. "Street Fight" Match Matt Hardy V1 .VS. Edge (with Lita). Singles Match "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters .VS. The Big Show. WWE Women's Title Match Trish Stratus .VS. Victoria/Stacy Keibler/Ashley. World Tag Team Titles Match Hurricane & Rosey (with Stacy) .VS. The Heart-Throbs. Singles Match Kerwin White .VS. Shelton Benjamin. Extras Faces Kane. Eugene. Matt Striker. Viscera. Tajiri. Val Venis. Heels Shawn Michaels. Rob Conway. Rene Dupree. Gene Snitsky. Tyson Tomko. Who the hell is Shawn Michaels going to feud with after SummerSlam? I hope Viscera.

Is this as funny as it sounds? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I started to dancing with Maria
Guest JRE Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 ...The WWE signed Matt Striker? His bio is on WWE.com (in the RAW superstars section).
Team Angle Pusher Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Didn't hear anything about that, and he has a Entrance Video as well!
The Mandarin Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 In my opinion, Randy Orton has had much better chemistry in the ring with Triple H than he has with Chris Benoit. I'd give Orton-HHH from Unforgiven 2004 ***1/2 while I'd give Orton-Benoit from Summerslam 2004 (which I saw live) **1/2. But that's just me.
Dr. Zaius Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Yeah, I have some of them. But I'm kind of a completist: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You need a DVD player in the worst way.

I'd say his match with Taker at Mania was better then both of those.

It was very good.
Lil' Bitch Posted August 21, 2005 Report Posted August 21, 2005 Orton / Benoit was one of the best world title matches from last year, IMO. I really, really enjoyed it even though Benoit lost.

Hell, their match when Orton was the Adidas-esque shorts wearing Smackdown boy was solid as hell.
Guest wildpegasus Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I was dissapointed with that match last night because I was hoping for more. It was okay but nothing I'd ever want to watch again. Their Mania match was better from memory. The Benoit vs Orton Raw match from last year is one of the best I've ever seen from the WWF. Taker can still move however. I was surprised at the air he got for the flying clothesline against Orton considering he's supposed to be getting an inevitable hip surgery down the road. Taker is one tough hombre. I wonder what Taker will be up to now after this match with Orton. Undertaker vs Orton at Mania > Foley vs Orton Let's all hope for a Regal push The reason why wrestlers' entrances music is played before they come down to the ring is because they want to pop the crowd as much as possible which is more important than exposing the buisness. When Austin or whatever big star would come out like this it would just make the show more energetic. Now that these types of entrances don't have the spark that they used to the entrance thing becomes more noticeable and more of a problem Yeah, and I too hate it when they play theme music before a wrestler comes out. Always did.

MillenniumMan831 Posted August 23, 2005 Report Posted August 23, 2005 I wouldn't go that far. There's at most 1 copy of each ppv on VHS for the past year or so (WM21 had more though) while approx 6 would be stocked for the same event on dvd.
Guest deinly1 Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 4. Tomko & Kane- this would require Kane to become darker. but have Kane go back to his old ways and Have Tomko be his Student. Could be a couple of sick son of a bitches. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> GREAT IDEA MAN. Tomko definately has a student of Kane aura about him, maybe it's just the goatee, what if they brought out Tomko with a black robe and did some skits with him lighting candles and sitting in a basement listening to Kane's sick speeches or something.
The Mandarin Posted August 24, 2005 Report Posted August 24, 2005 Austin Aries should be hired and he needs to beat The Undertaker in a retirement match eventually (after a mentor/student storyline). Just because.
Aero Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 I bought the Great American Bash 05 DVD the other night, and one of the extras is Flair vs. Sting from GAB 90.
