Cartman Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Can't wait to hear all the retards on talk radio around here to backtrack everything they said after last week's loss. Makes it all worth it sometimes.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 There's a motherfucker of a game going on right now in St. Louis. Five lead changes, big plays galore. On an unrelated note, this helmet-to-helmet penalty shit is weak. These guys get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars per year, minimum. I want to see them hit each other as hard as possible. Maybe being a little Nancy with the QB hits makes sense since the games suffer if every team is relying on backups, but outside of that, let 'em hit. It wasn't that dirty of a shot.

I sware the NFL has became pussifeid because of these rules that protect every fucking player that takes a some kind of hit.
naiwf Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Scobee should shank this and blow the game. Eh, he was close to being the goat. Let's go Jags.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 What is ESPN's reasoning for changing the way they air NFL Primetime and replacing it with the SportsCenter add-in lamely named "The Blitz"?
Hawk 34 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Everyone in Cincy will try to blame the lost on the benching of Chris Henry.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Useless moron Sean Salsbury calls the Seahawks the NFC's best team. I will now be cheering for the Bears despite finding both teams boring.
Hawk 34 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 What is ESPN's reasoning for changing the way they air NFL Primetime and replacing it with the SportsCenter add-in lamely named "The Blitz"? For some reason, the NFL doesn't allow ESPN to air that show against NBC's programing.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 What is ESPN's reasoning for changing the way they air NFL Primetime and replacing it with the SportsCenter add-in lamely named "The Blitz"? My guess is that NBC has the Sunday Night rights now, and won't allow ESPN to have a highlight show then.
Scroby Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Looks like the Browns beat the Raiders. CBS just switched over to this other game in OT. Not sure whose playing though, it went straight to commerical.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 No, he shouldn't have said the Eagles. Chill the fuck out, MrRant, you happen to be one of my favorite posters, yet you've got this notion that I'm some hardcore Eagles '06 UNBEATABLE~! homer when in like 3 posts now I've used words like "IF the Eagles win...", "THEN I'll call them elite...", etc. Jesus. I just wanted to make fun of Salisbury, who is a notably horrible in predicting football games. Especially recent playoff games that the Eagles played against the Vikings, the Packers, and the NFC Title game against the Falcons, in which he claimed the Eagles would lose each and didn't. Just why I've noticed him.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Redskins win, great tackling Jags... It's cool that Detroit is beating the Rams.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 The NBC's version of NFL Primetime, called "FOOTBALL NIGHT AMERICA" (?), led by Bob Costas, just had a co-host refer to itself as "the best show on TV".
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Everyone in Cincy will try to blame the lost on the benching of Chris Henry. Thank God they did bench him. My fantasy opponent didn't know it and started him this week. Oops. Still doesn't look good for me though. Got a decent sized lead but I've only got Akers and Favre left compared to his McNabb, Westbrook, Branch, and Gould. I need another 300 yard, 3 TD game from Brett.

Yeah, and how is this different then FOX's outrageous annual claim to having "the best NFL coverage" despite shitty announcers, horrible gimmicky graphics and a crap filled pre-game show?
jwest27 Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Touchdown Rams. 2 point conversion is good. Bruuuuce.

Guest Vitamin X Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Whoever said that the Saints are a Superbowl-level team? Salisbury? Consider the conspiracy theories about the Patriots winning the Superbowl because of Sept 11 why can't the Saints with the Superbowl because of Katrina? Pats vs Saints at Superbowl this year! The winner, the politicians. Are you high?

FNIA is a well-produced show, you have to admit. I coucur, see the "coverage" thread. It's not exactly a peculiar statement to make about your own product, which I thought was UTSU's objective. Especially a show that is well produced despite Bettis doing a poor Charles Barkley impression.
Guest Felonies! Posted October 1, 2006 Report Posted October 1, 2006 Oh by the way, Lawrence Maroney is Rookie of the Year, right?
Hawk 34 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Oh by the way, Lawrence Maroney is Rookie of the Year, right? How much would it cost the NFL to scrape "Reggie Bush" off the inscription?
Guest Felonies! Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 THE BUS IS THE MOST CARING ATHLETE! BUS BUS BUS BUS BUS!
Hawk 34 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 THE BUS IS THE MOST CARING ATHLETE! BUS BUS BUS BUS BUS! It's like Barkley but without the intelligent analysis, humor and honesty. Equal doughnut consumption, however.
MFer Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 The Detroit Lions have now improved to 2-0 in moral victories.
Kahran Ramsus Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Oh by the way, Lawrence Maroney is Rookie of the Year, right? Marques Colston has been very impressive too.
Guest Felonies! Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Wow. That was one bullshit call right there.
