Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 23 pitches for 9 outs. Have they forgotten how to work a count? I mean, once Abreu came, that's all they did. They're still in a state of shock over Mussina blowing an enormous two-run lead to a team that won 95 games.
bobobrazil1984 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 Awesome. There's still a lot of game to go, i expect yanks to narrow it but this is looking like the Lakers-Pistons 04 all over again

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 Man, the Tigers starters are in command right now. But the Tigers manager is Jim Leyland so I'm expecting them to blow in in the ninth when someone with a .112 batting average hammers them.

Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 Tigers are gonna have to start worrying about being no-hit pretty soon. Bonderman's around the 40 pitch mark through five.

vivalaultra 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 I bet some NL team is gonna be able to get A-Rod on the cheap this offseason... My God...wasn't it just a couple years ago that Jermey Bonderman lost like...45 games?
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 i actually don't hate the yankees nearly as much as most, but i hate their current team. i hate how the team is being run. so seeing them be eliminated in such a decisive blow out fasion is beautiful. they deserve every second of it. though my bride sorta feels sorry for the yankees. but what does she know. CARLOS!
randomguy 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 The Yankees can't be overhauled effectively unless Cashman is gone. The guy sucks. Terrible. The Yankees have tried to overhaul a couple times already, always with the same result: a lot of money spent on guys who are in their waning years or injury prone. Edit: Bonderman had the most losses in baseball a year or two ago IIRC. But he is one of those guys that everyone was waiting for to turn the corner.

Guest Paul Report post Posted October 7, 2006 Yeah, Steinbrenner wanted Sheffield instead of Vlad. That was REAL smart. No...most of them won't and shouldn't be overhauled, by any means.
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted October 7, 2006 Hasn't Stein made a lot of the decisions that have been criticised? banky, I thought you were an As fan i am. thats what makes this so much more beautiful. my two teams. one of which in the world series. i've been a tigers fan since about 89. thats our nbc affiliate (wdiv) so i used to watch more tigers games with harwell & kaline than i did with the blue jays. i don't even remember their commentators from that time. This is his fault. exactly. this is all steinbrenner's fault. no one elses. anyone can blame a-rod. but his team THREW him under the buss. jeter is supposed to be the captain of this team. he should have put his hurt feelings aside & unified this team.
