Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Shit, you're too late now. Mixaroonie XI became a rather spiffy 27 minute techno affair. Besides, I already did that with Mixaroonie IV: Evolution of Dance 1815-2002. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Kinetic, just what sets your question and answer thread apart from the others? 'Cuz he did it first! He's like the New York Dolls... once everyone else started ripping off their music people forget totally about them! But dammit, I read Kinetic's posts back when he was underground! i agree 100%. now for the questions... kinteic, is it true metal ed is the greatest gimmick poster to grace the smart marks message board? is it true that your rise to infamy began with the contentious statements thread in which you and i debated for 30 some odd posts before other posters finally caught on OR was it the bukkake thread? The Dames 0 Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Did I mention that I was the first to use this type of thread here? Because I was. Me. My dear Kinetic, how you are mistaken. Granted, the "I'm Bored" thread started much later than yours, however, I created one when I first arrived, many moons ago. Then, I was no one and no one asked me a fuggin' thing. Not to mention that anyone who knew me at other boards knows that I've been doing it since 99-2000. Keep dreaming, it's ok. I'll believe you. Dames
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Dear Kinetic, why is it that the Velvet Underground is not really that talented?
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Ha! More evidence of the Kinetic/New York Dolls connection... "The New York Dolls contract expired on the 8th of August, 1975. We had a two LP deal with them and it was decided at that time not to renew their contract. The reality is that neither of their LP's sold very well. Not only that, but they were costing us huge amounts of because of their tendency to destroy hotel property. I truly believe that the company tried to be fair and patient with the Dolls but as talented as they were they were a continued source of aggravation for us". -DONNA L. HALPER, East Coast A&R Director. Phonogram, N.Y., October 7th, 1975 Kinetic's genius and talent are totally misunderstood, and people choose to look at only his more aggravating qualities and judge him for that. Also, although he's not a transsexual rock star, he's proud of being something just as "weird" and "maligned" in our society, a practicer of bukkake.

Before I get to the questions, let me inform you that I received your tape today. I don't need to get into how awesome it is, but...man, isn't Austin-Hart from Survivor Series fucking awesome? I'd never seen the match before for a variety of reasons and I was on the edge of my seat towards the end regardless of the fact that I knew who won. So, yeah. Thanks for the tape. I wholeheartedly believe that Metal Ed is the greatest gimmick poster in this board's history. His only real competition would be Guy Stokes, who was exposed as a one-joke character and a fraud after a few days. After that, you're left with second-rate gimmicks like PunkPrincess and EvenflowDDT and clearly they can't compete with Metal Ed's greatness. I think my rise to fame came from a combination of those two threads, along with my many contributions to our eternally struggling music folder. I believe the thread entitled "Who Deserves a Good Nut-Punching?" was the first time anyone noticed I was around.

Dames You know, Dames, I'd rather not get into who invented what here. As Established Posters of the highest esteem, I believe it's our responsibility to set a good example for newer, lesser posters and in-fighting does nothing to help accomplish that. Maybe you did start an "Ask Dames" thread that went nowhere. I don't remember it, but whatever. The important thing is that we both acknowledge that JHawk is a filthy, gutless thief. Guest Kinetic Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Dear Kinetic, why is it that the Velvet Underground is not really that talented? It's less a case of them being untalented and more a case of you being unable to recognize brilliance. I don't even really understand your point, as all of them were reasonably proficient musicians. It's possible that you've accidentally mistaken them for the vastly inferior Schmelvet Underground, however, and then I'd totally understand. They suck. Guest Kinetic Report post Posted October 11, 2002 i have a question, its too crap to start a new topic so ill put it here does lauran hill (the singer) really have 13 children Ah, no. From the information I've gathered, it seems as though Lauryn Hill has all of two (possibly three) children. The misunderstanding of Lauryn Hill likely came from the fact that her children's father is a son of Bob Marley, who does in fact have upwards of thirteen kids scattered across the globe. If not, then it's total "rubbish" and I don't know where you got it from.
Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted October 11, 2002 Dear Mr. Etic, Let's say that I just happened to discover that there was a Rave going on in the greater DC area on the weekend of the Gathering. My question is, how many times do you think I'd have to bash everyone on the trip over the head with the pipe wrench in BLACK MANTA~!'s trunk to get them to come with me? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge I can't speak for everyone else, but it'd be a wintery day in hell before I'd volunteer to go to a rave. I don't dance, for one, and I'm terrified of flashing lights. And if I see someone waving around even one glow stick, I swear to god...
