devo Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Everybody in the country besides Grossman saw that coming.
Brett Favre Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Dennis Green needs to chill with this conservative ass playcalling. You have them on the ropes; don't waste those opportunites by running on first AND second down, when you're in or near the redzone.
devo Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Well thank God we get to see Jay-Z's new video at halftime.
Guest Paul Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Wow...just...WOW. I thought Oakland would pull the late night upset, last night. I was wrong. This game is far from over...but, damn.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I'm impressed with Leinart. Good job, Matt. As for the Bears, ok, I'm taking it back, they are not going anywhere if they can't beat the Cardinals who entering the game, had no positive momentum whatsoever.
MFer Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 If anyone is trying to defend Vick as a QB, please stop. Their NFC Championship year was a fluke, when the Eagles ruled the NFC and EVERYONE else sucked. The Falcons had a cake schedule that year. Unless Vick learns to hold on to the ball when he takes a hit, he'll be nothing. Unless Vick tries to throw for 300 yards per game instead of rushing 100 yds, he'll be nothing. Unless Vick learns how to sit in the pocket as pass well (he DOES have a rocket-arm), he'll be nothing. He's a sideshow. "Ooh, let's watch the QB run...he' SO FAST!" I'm not really trying to defend Vick. Everyone knows that he needs to improve his passing skills. I'm just pointing out that he's accomplished some nice things in his career and I think the Falcons can win with him. They have a nice D and a great running game. Vick just needs to limit his mistakes. I think most people realize that Vick isn't among the elite QB's in the league, just one of the elite athletes.
Guest Paul Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 The Bears are still going somewhere...probably the top of their divison. But, undefeated seasons and all that talk...no way.
devo Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Why is it that all 75% of the commentators can talk about is how much trouble the Cardinals are in?

But I don't think he'll ever SEE a Super Bowl unless he changes. When the running game fails, or you're out-rushed, you need a guy to stand in the pocket and take control. I'm not sure Vick can ever do that.

Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Ah, to be a Chicago sports fan.
Slayer Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Jay-Z is trying to crossover with the racing market Hah
Hawk 34 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 This is still better then Pink's video.
MrRant Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 So... are there enough Bears fans in Wisconsin given the proximity to possibly have to revive the "Fucking Wisconsin" thread if they continute to get whitewashed?
Guest Paul Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 This is a slaughter. Nobody but Leinart saw it coming.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I come home from the movies and this is a total shock. But then I see that there's still the entire second half.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I have this feeling the Bears are still going to pull this out. If only by a hair.
randomguy Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I turned away when it was 4th and 10 and now the Cards have the football again. What happened? Penalty on the punt?
devo Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Yeah, they called Roughing the Kicker even though he was at the worst simply ran into.
Hawk 34 Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Survivor pools across the country are thrown out the window if Chicago doesn't straighten up and realize it's the fucking Cardinals.
randomguy Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I hate roughing the kicker calls. The kicker is still a football player. Rolling into a guy is a penalty?
snuffbox Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 So... are there enough Bears fans in Wisconsin given the proximity to possibly have to revive the "Fucking Wisconsin" thread if they continute to get whitewashed? Women/cattle/sheep/etc get a reprieve tonight.
devo Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 That's more like it. Bears still need to scrape together two touchdowns in the fourth, though.
