1 vs 100

Recommended Posts

A) The dude is getting married and yet he asks the Deal or No Deal Girl for help..uh..yeah..

B) Since I dont watch AI, Im glad there were some other people who didnt know who sat in the middle..

C) Im sure Ken Jennings really needs to win another couple thousand bucks.

Theres four more game shows coming up..The Rich List, Set For Life, Show Me the Money! and Name that Tune..it feels like its 1999 all over again! GAME SHOW MANIA!

Jimmy Kimmel is hosting Set for Life on ABC, William Shatner is hosting Show Me the Money for ABC, some random brittish guy is hosting the Rich List for Fox and Donny Osmond is hosting Name that Tune for CBS.

It's not weird for a guy to flirt with another girl in a playful manner and besides, you don't think the producers pushed him to point out the girls?

I've noticed they have the wrong answer or not even the actual answer on some of these questions.

One was "What number did Jordan use with the Chicago Bulls?" and it asked "A) 23 B) 32 C) 45.

There's two right answers right there and there's been other examples.

True, but the difference is something I can illustrate with this paraphrased example.

Q: What kind of animal is Pepe Le Pew (sp?)?

The TV choices would be something like cat, dog, skunk.

Online game is weasel family, rodent family, marsupial family.

There wasn't one question on the TV show I couldn't answer before the choices came up. Some of the online ones I'm just blind guessing at because I've never heard the answer, seen the movie or TV show. Even with the repeated questions it's still much more difficult than any question I saw on TV today.

Bob Saget isn't the best host for this, but it's pretty decent.

I think Bob Saget should give the game show gig to Uncle Joey.

Yeah Dave Coulier back in prime time. That's just what the world needs!

Why would anyone want to be in the mob? Since 90% of the guests are just gonna quit

If the contestants could wittle the mob down to like less than 5, they might not be so fast to quit if they thought they could eliminate them all and win $1 million, but it seems to be that the mob doesn't get wittled down fast enough for that to happen.

I knew that.

I beat the game again- before the $10,000 question. They really need to change the questions.

What was the 1 v. 1 question? The As Good as It Gets one

Ken looks incredibly bored up there. Either that or possessed.

Or embarrassed to be there.

I'm on the mailing list for his Tuesday trivia contest, and this was the introduction this week:

This week's quiz, particularly Question Seven, strikes me as a little friendlier, so hopefully all will be forgiven. If you want something even easier, NBC is airing 1 vs 100 on Friday evenings all month long.

This guy is such a fucking moron. He honestly thought that 4 people out of 54 got it right. What a fucking moron.

No, there are only 4 Wayans brothers, same as the Baldwins. At least, only four that are famous.

I stand corrected. Keenan has 4 brothers which makes 5 but there are 8 Osmond sons. I checked imdb.com.

1 VS 100

Are you a lover of trivia? Do you have what it takes to take on the mob of 100?

Follow the instructions below to find out how.

TO BE CONSIDERED AS A CONTESTANT:

1. Make a 5-minute personal videotape of yourself. You may include friends and family but show us your life and what makes you a great contestant

2. Fill out an application (include a recent photo of each person)

3. Send it to our contestant department.

1. Making Your Videotape

Making a videotape audition for the program is very easy. Using a video camera, make us a 5-minute tape that tells us a little about yourself and what you would do with $1,000,000. Be creative, show us your personality - tell us what makes you unique. Please start with your name and hometown. There is no "right" or "wrong" thing to say on your tape, we just want to get to know you.

Make sure we can see and hear you clearly.

-Label the tape with your name address and phone number.

-We can only accept VHS or miniDV tapes. Transferring your camcorder tape to VHS can be accomplished easily. Use the Red, White, and Yellow cables that come with your camera to connect it to your VCR. Push play on your camera, and Record on your VCR. Please run a test and make sure your transfer worked properly.

-Be Kind, Rewind. Rewinding your tape to the beginning greatly increases our fondness for you.

2. Filling out the Application

Click here to download the Application. Adobe Reader is required to view the application. Click here to download a free copy if you do not have it installed.

Please take your time and answer the questions honestly. We will only accept completed and signed applications if they are accompanied by your videotape.

Include a recent photo:

Please enclose a recent personal photo. Make sure your photo(s) are clearly labeled with your names and phone numbers on the back. It is best, though not mandatory to send 2 clear photos of each person - one close up and one full body.

3. Sending Your Package

Please label your package and send it to:

1 vs. 100

P.O. Box 1995

Culver City , CA 90232

To review, here is your "To Do" List:

1. Make one (1) 5 minute videotape

2. Label the tape with your name, address and phone number

3. Complete and sign an application

4. Include a few recent photos of you and your supporters.

Please note: Application materials will not be returned. Limit one application package per person.

It's America's Dumbest Game Show, Saget with bad one liner jokes. Bob Saget is the anti-host with his comments like "with the $100 you can buy the mob a cup of coffee or you can continue..." or "Pick one of the 3 answers and let's see if the mob is as dumb as you" makes 1 vs 100 different from the rest of the mindless game show out today.

You forgot about the stupidity of the contestants. I wonder if this first round of contestants came out of the Deal or No Deal pool?

I'd love to be a part of the Mob. I think it's easy money for anyone on this board.
