Guest Vitamin X Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Even Titans fans should be cheering for the Ravens, with McNair and all.. I doubt it'll be close.
Cuban Linx Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Tennessee have the worst defense in the league, they can't run at ball, can barely pass the ball, they always struggled with Baltimore even when they were good, add in a motivated McNair and the Ravens should win easy.
The Niggardly King Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Jake Plummer shits the bed, and the Raider train starts up again. 17-10 RAIDERS!!!
fazzle Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I don't really feel like digging up the fantasy football thread, so I'll ask it in here. Who should I start this week? Damon Huard (vs the Fins) or Marc Bulger (vs the Seahawks) ?
MFer Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I'll take these teams:Pats, Chiefs, S.D., Indy, Ravens, Jags, 'Skins, Vikes, Lions, Falcons, Broncos, N.O., STL, Cowboys, N.Y. Giants, and Panthers.
CanadianChris Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Jake Plummer shits the bed, and the Raider train starts up again. 17-10 RAIDERS!!! Pfft. The Raiders offence will get closer to 17 yards than they will 17 points.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Titans are off to a hot start on their first drive.. I Dont like this one bit. Held em to a FG inside the 5. Ravens #1 Red Zone Defense !
naiwf Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Yeah, I'd be nervous too because no team in the history of the NFL has ever won a game when a team did well on their first drive.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Holy Crap..McNair to Clayton 65 yard TD. Clayton is emerging as the Ravens #1 reciever ahead of Mason oddly enough. And to Naiwf..the Ravens have only allowed 10 points in the first quarter the whole season..now 13..but anyway they aren't used to giving up points like that on a first drive.
Hawk 34 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I missed the pre shows, is there a reason that Rudi Johnson is getting disciplined and not starting?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 travis henry already has 50 yards rushing on 4 carries not even halfway through the first quarter...and the ravens arent even giving up 70 per game on the year. ouch and the Titans are back in the red zone again..wtf?
AlaskanHero Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I missed the pre shows, is there a reason that Rudi Johnson is getting disciplined and not starting? I believe they said he was late to a team meeting.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Vince Young TD the ravens defense is absolute s-h-i-t today.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 The Ravens are getting their asses handed to em so far.. its 12-7 Titans now after a safety. and its about to be 19-7..
Chuck Woolery Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 (re: vitamin x) but, as a titans fan, i should be rooting for the ravens, because we obviously have no chance. right?
2GOLD Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Anyone who doesn't think Ray Lewis is that big of a deal to the Ravens defense just needs to forever stop talking. This defense looks lost as lost can be without him on the field. It was really the same deal last year as well. With Ray Lewis, the Ravens have one of the best defenses in football. Without him, they are just really really average. Meanwhile, Cincy has decided to play football for a change. Up 14-0 on the Super Chargers. Also New England having another inspired offensive performance with a 3-0 lead on the Jets. Correction, now 20-0 Cincy. Palmer is 8-for-8 for 163 yards with a touchdown.
Hawk 34 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Chad Johnson learning that by keeping his mouth shut, that the defense will forget he exists and he just showed why you CAN'T ignore him. Chad doesn't even do a dance or celebration of any kind. Bengals are smoking San Diego on both sides of the field.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Its 19-7 Titans.. I fucking knew it.
2GOLD Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Chad Johnson learning that by keeping his mouth shut, that the defense will forget he exists and he just showed why you CAN'T ignore him. Chad doesn't even do a dance or celebration of any kind. Bengals are smoking San Diego on both sides of the field. I really liked his version of complaining about not getting the ball last week. Just smiling and nodding, it was such a new approach. I miss the hard working fun Chad Johnson, hopefully he comes back full time now. Also, Atlanta is down 13-0 to the Browns.
naiwf Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 It's lights out for SD without Lights Out. 21-0 at the end of 1, is just embarassing on so many levels.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Tennessee have the worst defense in the league, they can't run at ball, can barely pass the ball,. Every one of those points has been proven false through 17 minutes of this game. and the Ravens just got called offsides on a FG try to give the Titans a first down.. 26-7 Titans with 10 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
Bored Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Frank Gore has 148 yards rushing and there is still five minutes left in the first half.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 It's lights out for SD without Lights Out. 21-0 at the end of 1, is just embarassing on so many levels. Really?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Musa Smith is out with a neck injury..just what the Ravens need is injuries adding more insult.. and McNair passes to Mughelli for a 38 yard TD. 26-14 Titans.
Brett Favre Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 These NFL rules.. Hobson hits Brady right about the same time as he's throwing, and Brady throws a pick. Turns out the rule is you can't lift the QB off the ground or something like that, so it was a roughing the passer. The Pats later get a FG on the drive, and it's now Jets 7-6.
snuffbox Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Brett Favre just threw to Don Driver for an 82 yard td with about a minute to go in the first half. Favre's second touchdown pass of the half.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Titans just missed a 41 yard FG and theres time enough to maybe at least drive for a FG themselves.. and now Todd Heap is hurt.
naiwf Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 It's lights out for SD without Lights Out. 21-0 at the end of 1, is just embarassing on so many levels. Really? Really. Palmer's 1st half stats - 20/23, 282 yds, 2 TD
MarvinisaLunatic Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 oh yeah..Buffalo is really getting blown out by the Colts..its 10-10.
