Scroby Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 I have a date on Thursday and we're going to a comedy club but we're going to go see someone who I have no clue who it is. I don't think she does either but we're going anyways. Anyways I was wondering has anyone ever heard of or have ever heard of Mark Lundholm or Huck Flyn? and if you have, what did you think of them.
Lord of The Curry Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 I haven't but if it's a first date it's probably not a good idea to sit in the first two rows.
vivalaultra Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 I haven't heard of either, but according to each of their official websites, huckflyn.com and marklundholm.com, one of them's a uh...musical comedian who plays "blues" and the other one used to do lots of drugs. I forget which is which.
2GOLD Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Seen Mark, he can be funny but he also falls flat on his face alot. Huck, never heard of.
the max Posted November 27, 2006 Report Posted November 27, 2006 Hey if they use any language that you find offensive, you can sue them! http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,231743,00.html
Guest NYankees Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 I went to go see Paul Mooney a month ago at Carolines in NYC. I should sue because he spent half of his act making fun of White people.
vivalaultra Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 But they're such easy targets...with their pocket protectors and...nerd glasses and whatnot.
The Amazing Rando Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 I went to go see Paul Mooney a month ago at Carolines in NYC. I should sue because he spent half of his act making fun of White people. Only half?
Guest NYankees Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Well the other half of his act was Black people jokes and making fun of celebs.
Scroby Posted November 28, 2006 Author Report Posted November 28, 2006 I went to go see Paul Mooney a month ago at Carolines in NYC. I should sue becasue he spent half of his act making fun of White people. You act surprised.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 Well if the other half was black people/celeb jokes I guess they should all sue too.

Youth N Asia Posted November 28, 2006 Report Posted November 28, 2006 But they're such easy targets...with their pocket protectors and...nerd glasses and whatnot. Don't forget their dancing too. Those silly honkeys.

I should sue becasue he spent half of his act making fun of White people. You act surprised. I was being sarcastic. I knew I was going to see Negrodamus. Wrong. It should be your plan A. I'm sorry Rant, but when you put down "Wrong", I thought of Dana Carvey's old SNL act, I can't think of the name but he was cross debate guy and would say "WRONG!" everytime someone gave him an answer to something. Bob Barron would probably know.

NoCalMike Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 So Scroby, how'd the date go? How were the comedians?
Scroby Posted December 2, 2006 Author Report Posted December 2, 2006 Date went ok, we had a good time and plan on going back to the comedy club to see Craig Shoemaker in about two weeks. I'm going to Oregon next weekend to work a wrestling show, so I'm sorta saving my money this week. Huck Flyn was pretty funny, the crowd wasn't to into him at first then he pulled out his guitar and the crowd got more into it. Huck's pretty much a classic rocker who takes song and somewhat parody's them a little bit. That was sorta the best part of his act, got us singing by the end of it. One of the best parts was when he pulled out his guitar and someone shouted "Freebird!" then Huck threw up his middle finger and says "You wanted a free bird, well there's your free bird." Mark Lundholm was really funny, actually had me tearing up a little bit. His comedy was just sorta all over the place though he pretty much talked about how there's only normal people and everyone else in the world. We both had a good night but had to turn in early because I had to be up at 5 am the next morning for work and she's still getting over being sick and the cough medicane (along with a cosmo) was making her really tired, but we're going out again in a few weeks, so we'll see how things go there.
Guest Princess Leena Posted December 2, 2006 Report Posted December 2, 2006 I'm sure she'll like you more once she's off the medicane.
