CanadianChris Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Colston has rookie of the year on lock, but Jones-Drew has definitely been great. Also, Marv, the Ravens are probably going to drop another one before the end of the year and won't get homefield anyway. I expect them to get the 3 at this point, since New England won't have to do a whole lot to win their division. I don't know about that. The lead is going down to a game and a half right now. If the Jets run the table, which is possible, New England will have to run the table as well, since they lose out to the Jets on the second tiebreaker if they end up tied. I see the East winner at at least 11-5, possibly 12-4. The Ravens might have to win out to nail down the third seed.
teke184 Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Depends on the tiebreakers, Chris. On top of that, there's a good chance Indy drops at least one more the way they played today, getting gashed on the ground and dropping a lot of passes on offense.
2GOLD Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 New England losing on the road in Miami isn't that stunning to Patriots fans. Pretty much expected this loss all season long. Just something about the NE offense when they head to Miami.
CanadianChris Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Next week's Eagles/Giants game is suddenly THE critical game of the week.
teke184 Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 New England losing on the road in Miami isn't that stunning to Patriots fans. Pretty much expected this loss all season long. Just something about the NE offense when they head to Miami. The Saban is exhibiting his Divine Powers in doing so.
In Credible Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 The Viking's run defense is sick, today is the second time they've held a team to negative rushing yards (-3 vs DET/MIA).
RepoMan Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Who made Bills/Jets a 4:15 game? Now I can't see Broncos/Chargers.
teke184 Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 The Giants have sewed up their first win in a long time, beating the Panthers. This makes for a three-way tie between the Giants, Eagles, and Falcons for the 2 playoff spots.
Hawk 34 Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Once AGAIN, I have the choice between Seattle and Denver. Hey, networks...America doesn't give a shit about either of these two teams. Stop forcing us to watch those teams. I can't believe I'm wishing I was getting a Buffalo or Green Bay game instead.
Guest Legalise Drugs and Murder Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 So I guess I'm going to be the starting middle linebacker for Indianapolis next week as part of a new reality tv show called "Who wants to get burned and trampled on the Colts run defense?"
naiwf Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Does anyone know if 375 yards rushing is close to a single game team record?
packwingfn Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 I love TVUPlayer. I'm watchin the Packers-49ers because the person broadcasting FOX is from Calfornia so I've been waiting all year to finally watch a packers game at home instead of going to a bar (I'm from Rhode Island). Well I did watch the Packers-Patriots but I'll forget about that game.
CanadianChris Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Does anyone know if 375 yards rushing is close to a single game team record? The record is 426, set back in 1934 by the Lions. I'd bet it's close to a record in the Super Bowl era.
ANKLELOCK Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Vince Young 45 yard TD run to beat his hometown team in OT. Titans were down 14-6 in second half but had yet another comeback led by Young. Colston can kiss his ass.
Mik Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 That's awesome. Welcome to being an NFL icon, Vince.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Awesome, I got Bills/Jets AND Chargers/Other Horse Team on the HD.
naiwf Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Willis McGahee steps on the hearts of Jets fans again w/a 57 yard TD run.
naiwf Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Denver's getting murdered 21-3 w/ 10:15 left in the first half. HA HA.
Guest womfalcs7 Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Atlanta WON! It would've been better if the Eagles lost. We're still in the 7th position in the playoff race.
naiwf Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Buffalo has had 3 big plays so far, but that's all they need for a 21-10 lead over the Jets. 57 yd TD run by McGahee 77 yd TD reception by Lee Evans 58 yd INT TD return by Nate Clements
2GOLD Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Good, just don't blow it in the second half like they usually do.
randomguy Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Jay Cutler has looked terrible so far. Romo he ain't.
CanadianChris Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 He's looked better on those last two TD drives.
2GOLD Posted December 10, 2006 Report Posted December 10, 2006 Jay Cutler has looked terrible so far. Romo he ain't. Didn't know rookies were expected to play like four year veterans.
CanadianChris Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 I cannot believe the Jets are punting a home game against BUFFALO. They don't deserve a playoff spot if they're losing to Buffalo at home in December.
Guest Princess Leena Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 It's not that surprising. The Bills have been playing good football for over a month now.
Vampiro69 Posted December 11, 2006 Report Posted December 11, 2006 Looks like the Cardinals are going to defeat the Seahawks 27-21.
