I'm fairly sure this is the 5th time someone created a thread on this. This is a gimmick concept that goes beyond Battle Royale and Running Man. A movie studio ripped off an old movie, oh my god.

It looks like more of a cross between No Escape and The Running Man than Battle Royale, which was basically just a different take on Lord of the Flies. Anyway, variations of this kind of story go back centurys to the Roman Empire and the colliseum, it's not like Battle Royale just came out of the ether

Hey now The Departed won best picture and best director at the Oscars and it was a remake from asian cinema so clearly this WWE Film is gonna some awards at some random film festival like the IMDB.COM award for best motion picture featuring a pro-wrestler or the MTV Movie Award for best fight scene.
