Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 I'll buy that. How about Jeff's reactions after the win and during the post match inerview...I know he's a weird fella anyway, but he had some goofy body language going on there.

Yeah, no matter what, Londrick wasn't supposed to go but I could buy that Hardyz were the intended winners. Don't think Jeff and Matt would need the refs to do the impromptu finish though with Rednecks.
Guest phoenixdown2112 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 thats the only question I have I mean with all the insane matches the Hardy's have been in over the years you would think they would have just taken over right from there...and yeah Jeff is a bit odd so you could always chalk up the body language to that...Im guessing the ref was giving them the guide because with Londrick and the Hardy's I can see them having a big stunt set up and the ref was probably just telling them to call it off....Im hoping one of the sites has more info as it does create a pretty interesting situation if Londrick was supposed to go over as to where there going to go from here with this idea
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 The only problem I would have had with Hardys vs London/Kendrick last night was Jeff was obviously selling his injuries from the MITB match from the start. Hell, you could see during his entrance that he was in pain. So it would have looked incredibly stupid for those guys to suddenly go all out flying around the ring with each other when Jeff was selling he could barely move. The combination that ended up in the ring worked the best since it allowed Jeff to just lie around and every once and awhile get some kind of burst to hit a high flying move followed by his pain sell. I just think last night would have been the wrong time to let those two teams try to tear the house down. Give them a match like in a week or two and it makes perfect sense to me. But last night with how Jeff was acting from the beginning? No, I wouldn't have bought it.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 no doubt, though, had it come down to the two teams, the crowd would have gone bonkers! fuckin Spanky!
muzz 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 Does the ref have an ear piece for new instructions?
EricMM 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 So it can happen next week. Who caaaaaares? The match turned out fine. It wasn't a flub in the sense like it exposed ANYTHING. I dunno if that's the reasoning that will go on with this but if anything it shows that those two are "high risk"...
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 Does the ref have an ear piece for new instructions? I'm pretty positive they have ear pieces. Also, don't they sometimes get cues from the announcers?
Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 I've heard that the "botch" was meant to happen, and the Hardyz were always meant to win the tag titles. This goes back to what I said earlier, that it could lead to something pretty interesting, with WWE building up a Kendrick/London vs. Hardyz match to combine the tag titles, with Kendrick/London picking up the win, for a type of torch passing in the tag team ranks. I thought for sure it was a botch (could still be, and guys in WWE might be saying it was the plan all along just to cover up a mistake), but oh well. Downhome 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 I wonder what the Make A Wish segment will lead to, since its Foley and we know he has an angle in mind... I hope it's just a Make -A-Wish segment, no angles or anything. It would look very bad if they use something like that in an angle, and since it's Foley he'd look that much worse than he already does (with his shilling, etc). Hawk 34 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 This is a Mick Foley designed angle, which doesn't make it more decent, but we can assume their is a deeper purpose then usual.

Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted April 3, 2007 Vince will probably be jealous that another "bald" person gets their special wish fulfilled. Vince tries to attack the kid. Foley goes after Vince. Guest Wrestling Icon Report post Posted April 7, 2007 I am a huge Hardy Boys fan I thought it was so good to see them standing in the ring together as the tag team champions once again.
