Can you imagine having to get up, lift the needle and place it back down accurately on the right groove every time you wanted to skip a track? Preposterous. Easy there, junior. I remember doing exactly that when I was a kid. I remember the album too, Star Wars and Other Intergalactic Funk by MECO. That's right. Disco Star Wars. And it was good. Correction. It still is. Actually, I have a hard time with You Forgot it in People too, but for different reasons. To sit back and have a preconceived idea about what other people should respond with and then get pissy when they don't respond with your preconceived idea is ridiculous.
