A-Rod is fucking insane.

And Coco Crisp almost fucked himself up big time trying to catch that HR.

That would've been no great loss.

If they're going to put Myers in the 'pen, they might as well go all out & make him the closer. Does anybody really trust Gordon any more?

Phils 1-hit the Reds, only to have Scott Hatteberg tie up the game at 1-1 w/ a 2-out HR off Gordon in the bottom of the 9th.

Fuckin Yankees.

Great, now I get to hear it from my boss. He even called me after A-Rod hit that shot where CoCo almost died and I told him to fuck off. One thing I HATE about living in New York; all the crap I get for being a BoSox fan.

Oh well, it's only April.

I hate to keep the Phillies talk at "Bitch, bitch, bitch!" because I remember Anglesault and his ramblings (although he was dramatically negative for a pretty GOOD team) but seriously...what else can you say about this season?

How did they lose this game?!?! 1 hitter with two outs in the 9th!!!

Os Win!

That was a nice win for the Birds. Nice to see them not roll over and die in a game like they did so many times last year.

"This was not a game they would have won last year" - Jim Palmer on the postgame show.

Truth..also helps they didnt have to face BJ Ryan.

Still early in the season, but it was a bad lost. We smacked around Schilling, Pettitte pitched great, and we still lost.

Not to mention A-Rod continuing his streak of going batshit crazy good.

Well it's pretty clear that Mike Pelfrey doesn't belong in the Major Leagues yet.

He was shelled tonight and in his last start he only had two swings and misses out of 100 pitches.

Also, is K rate was pathetic during the spring.

I'm cursing Rick Peterson for messing with his stuff and trying to get him to "pitch to contact". It was obviously a small sample but last year he was showing some signs of being a tough power pitcher but then Peterson went and totally changed his pitching style.

I'm curious as to why Joe didn't go to Bruney in the 8th. He's been the best reliever so far this year. And I hate the situational lefty stuff. Mike Myers throws like 78 MPH. Keep Proctor in.

Yeah, Gay-Rod hit his 2 HR's and whatever but we didn't win! Fuck him and his 181 billion dollars!

He is so ridiculously good.

Not yet... I've only seen a few "Mr. April. Too bad he's wasting his season now." like posts on various boards this evening. I have to search more.

People seriously need to check put the YES Network message board right now. It's like hundreds of Anglesaults losing it at one time.

Grar. This is when I really miss not having the NYC sports channels.

It'd be the hilarity of all hilarities if A-Rod has a monster year but they fail in October because of that pitching and defense (seriously, WHY in the hell is Mientkiewizzizizi playing so far off the line during that Crisp AB? That's an easy groundout) and he opts out to sign another $150 million contract in Anaheim.
