In The Land of Women was a solid enough chick flick and I figured with all the thrillers and kids fare, it would have done better. What is the industry expectations for Austin's movie next weekend? I feel secure saying it'll be the highest gross of the WWE films.

Producers are now considering breaking up Grindhouse into two separate films considering on how poor it's doing in theaters.

Disturbia #1 again? Yikes.

I think that movie is long past having a decient boxoffice.

Glad to see 300 still doing well. And I was shocked not to see The Vacancy #1

I don't get the splitting up, who would go to see half of Grindhouse now, when they could have seen the whole thing for the same price earlier?

Idiots.

Vacancy...so...yeah...

It was alright. When it got tense it was pretty good, but the buildup to that was painful. Just showing how unlikeable the main characters were. And when it ended you're kinda just left going. "so...that's the end, huh?"

Hot Fuzz gets the same low screen number as ATHF did and still cleans up nicely with 7,000 a screen. I have no idea why that movie didn't get a higher screen number, it looked fantastic and even my dad wanted to go see it and he hates the movie theater.

The real positive is Red Line continues to bomb out. 26 million to make a Fast and the Furious meets Cannonball run movie with Eddie Griffin and it's only made 5.6 million while plummeting.

The film company has recently all but officially shit-canned that idea as it was thought of initially after the first week numbers, but when it really kept dropping, it would be pointless.

I just got out of Vacancy and all I have to say is "eh." Seemed pretty cookie-cutter formula for the most part, and yes, the ending was very anticlimactic to say the least.

Wasn't Pathfinder supposed to come out a long long time ago and it kept getting delayed?

Yep.

It would easily be the #1 movie next week if you got rid of Austin, and replaced him with someone like Jason Statham... wait, actually it would be #1 if it wasn't WWE movie.

When Eddie Griffin is your "Big Name" then you know your movie is doomed

whoa brother, Undercover Brother is great!

of course, that's mostly thanks to Dave Chappelle and Neil Patrick Harris...but still...

I still weep in disappointed that it wasn't a huge success. There needed to be an Undercover Brother 2.

And after?

Brutal and had tons of historical inaccuraces, plus bad script and acting.

Gore factor is neat.
