the max 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 So Mr. Joe Thorton has become Mr. Invisible. Joe Thornton?! INVISIBLE?!? Clearly he must be injured. That's the only explanation behind it. There are no other reasons for him to be invisible. None. No sirree.
Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 1, 2007 Ottawa is scaring me. They've played better during the playoffs during the Sabres have. And the regular season record. Not that it means much, considering the Sabres can get away with it, with their opponents. And Ottawa definitely has the better defensemen... I think Buffalo can be exploited after Tallinder/Lydman. Spacek blows. If we lose to Ottawa, they better win it all. Doin' it for the conference.
Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 Coming down to the wire in San Jose, but they have the momentum right now so they'll probably win.
iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 Yeah, I'm really happy with how the Senators have played thus far. They've been controlling the puck much better than New Jersey throughout the series and getting a lot more chances. Brodeur's the only reason that the Devils have been so tight every game. I think Ottawa's got a great shot to win the Cup this year.
Red Baron 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 When the hell did San Jose show up. I had a shower and they've taken complete control. Max: Just hit Joe a few times, and he's gone from the game. Once you've established some physicallity towards him, he's gonna fade away Leena: It also didn't help that it was the 93 Playoffs and Montreal won the game in OT. the max 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 Max: Just hit Joe a few times, and he's gone from the game. Once you've established some physicallity towards him, he's gonna fade away My post was meant to be sarcastic. I watched those playoff series that Joe never showed up for. I'm all too familiar with them. Then again, the Bruins essentially got Sturm, Kobasew and Ference for him.

Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 the red wings shit the bed tonight. horrible third period. bertuzzi is embarrasing lately. not just for taking dumb penalties, but for his defiance of playing defense. i can hardly wait for holmstrom to come back, and get that insignificant jiri hudler out of there. joe thorton only needs to fart to knock that little fuck over. after tonight, i'm losing faith in the wings. Zetterberg is God 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 I don't know how much more of this uninspired shit I can take. Where the fuck are Datsyuk and Zetterberg on the road already for Christ's sake? And wow, a powerplay goal on the road for once, but of course one against to nulify that. I can't understand how teams can score one even strength goal a game and it's good enough. This team is just too frustrating sometimes.
packwingfn 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 Eh I thought Datsyuk and Zetterberg played well enough for a road game but yeah they do need to score a goal on the road these playoffs. Remember it's a 7 game series, It's not over yet. Hopefully the return of Homer will spark the scoring. And Lang & Samuelsson looked like they had a spark up their ass tonight....About damn time
Annabelle 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2007 i thought datsyuk and zetterberg, along with lidstrom & lang, were the only guys who played well tonight.

iggymcfly 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 I bet on the Rangers, so I'd be biased their way if anything, but that was the worst call I've ever seen. That was clearly across the line and Buffalo should be getting ready for overtime right now.
fazzle 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 That was fucking horseshit. You don't do "makeup" calls in the NEXT goddamn game with 13 seconds left. Fucking piece of shit officials.
cd213 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 The WHOLE puck was not over the line. Good call by the oficials, and no I'm not just saying that because I'm a Rangers fans. VS did a good job of freeze-framing the play. The whole puck did not cross the line. Greta game none-the-less. I always great scared when King Hank touches the puck, stay the hell in the net! Guest Queen Leelee Report post Posted May 2, 2007 It certainly looked like a goal. But, I can also see how it was inconclusive. The Sabres deserved to lose anyway. They're not playing like men. You listen to Lindy. When the Rangers are going to sit back and not let you cross the line, you dump the puck in and make their defensemen pay. Then when the puck is at net, you make Lunqvist pay. You win the puck. You play desperate hockey for sixty fucking minutes. I don't give a fuck if you think you're the better team. If you think you'll win 10-1, then you fucking win 11-1 and 12-1. You kill. Attempting to stick handle past everyone like Connolly did works 1 out of 50 times, and he didn't score anyway. And try fucking scoring, it's easy for Lundqvist to look good when you're constantly shooting at his chest. Why try getting rebounds when you're a bunch of fucking sissy girls anyway. Well, other than Zubrus and Vanek. But, they can't do everything. Friday, there better be a lot of Rangers laying on their ass and aggressive offensive play for 60 minutes. cd213 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 I think the lose of Game 2 might have been a good thing for the Rangers. They learned that they can stay with this team. Both teams did what they had to though, they held home ice. Now it's up to the Rangers to see if they can steal home ice, and up to the Sabers to try to make sure that doesn't happen. This series has become a best of 3 now, and as a Rangers fan I can only hope that they have enough left in them to be able to take the next two games. Red Baron 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 No goal. A) Puck was not crossed the line completly. B) Inconclusive evidence
treble 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 That's a tough call, but the Sabres have gotten a few lucky calls on video replays in the play-offs so far, so karma, I guess.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 Just saw the replay, and I honestly couldn't tell. It probably was a goal, but it's impossible to be sure. Buffalo needs to come out next game ready to kill. They just let one of the best teams down the stretch back into their series. They need to win Game 5, or I don't think they advance. cd213 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2007 If, and it's a big if, the Rangers win game 5, i think it has a good chance of ending in 6. The Rangers were almost unstopable at hme at the end of the year.
