Boxer 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 From WWE.com for you guys that missed the intro to ECW: A message from the Chairman Written: June 26, 2007The following message from Vince McMahon aired at the beginning of tonight's ECW on Sci Fi: Last night on Monday Night Raw, the WWE presented a special tribute show, recognizing the career of Chris Benoit. However, now some 26 hours later, the facts of this horrific tragedy are now apparent. Therefore, other than my comments, there will be no mention of Mr. Benoit tonight. On the contrary, tonight's show will be dedicated to everyone who has been affected by this terrible incident. This evening marks the first step of the healing process. Tonight, the WWE performers will do what they do better than anyone else in the world--entertain you.

Chalmation 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2007 now that we're wrestling again, could they be thinking of a way to retire/unify the ECW belt with a cena-nitro feud?????? No, they're just running placeholder matches because they need to essentially sit down and come up with a series of new storylines for all three brands, and they need more time given the circumstances. that could be one of them i swear, the ECW brand is cursed Kurt Angle leaves under dubious circumstances in the second month Big Show retires after a few month championship run with weight problems RVD and Sabu get busted for pot in the first month Heyman gets blamed for a bad pay-per-view when it's Vince's fault and now this after he'd been drafted onto ECW
