Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Jason Kendall is Michael Barrett behind the plate with none of the offensive potential.
Guest • Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Yeah, pretty much. He brings nothing to the table, we've found out. I say more Koyie Hill and Geovany Soto.

And he might have been the worst baseball player I have ever seen over the first half of the year. I'm surprized he wasn't flat out released.
mike546 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Joba's last relief appearance - 2 IP, 5 Ks, 1 H, 0 runs. They need to bring him up asap, the hitting has been fantastic but Detroit and Anaheim and Toronto are coming up and in close games this Myers/Farnsworth gap to Rivera will notttt cut it. Guest • Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Oh son of a bitch, Soriano's hurt. It looked like he was celebrating, but why do you celebrate an ill-advised advance to third?

TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 They were ruminating on both, but the Toronto part is more juicy. There is no other reason right now to get rid of Myers than to bring up Joba to the show. Giambi nor Mientkiewicz aren't ready yet, and even if they were it would be somebody off the bench to go rather than somebody else out of the pen. They already traded a reliever for an infielder this week as it is.
migoli 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Okay, enough of that. What do the Minnesota Twins need to do, outside of winning almost all their remaining games against the Tigers, Indians, and White Sox, to win the Central? They're 4.5 back right now, and Mike Piazza has cleared waivers. Is that a trade worth trying to make? Oh, and could the Dodgers please stop sucking? I don't like the idea of the Diamondbacks making the postseason. Imagine if they met the Astros in the NLCS: Generic White Guy Showdown. Quien es mas blanco: Conor Jackson or Lance Berkman? Eric Byrnes/Hunter Pence? Man i love watching the Twins right now. They were 9.5 games out last thursday i think it was, now just 4.5 and they still have a game with Cleveland tomorrow. And adding Piazza to this team would be great, having a real DH ,not the spotty at best performances of Kubel and Rondell
devo 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Luis Castillo has a tremendous game (four hits, two stolen bases, two runs) and then promptly gets hurt. Christ almighty.
Bruiser Chong 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Jason Kendall is 0-for-21 in throwing out baserunners as a Cub. And what in the world is Ryan Dempster doing in here in a NON-SAVE situation?

Longdogger_Pete 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2007 Mocking aside, good for Glavine. The guy deserves any attention he gets. And fortunately for him, the night is all his - no milestone homers from Bonds or A-Rod tonight to share the spotlight with.
