Boner Kawanger Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 I don't know if these are in order, to be honest. I think they are, since the first two are right and the two-parter matches up, but no guarantees. I do know that the episode in question is a full blown musical written by Charlie and performed by the Gang .
jimmy no nose Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 The episode titles all have so much potential. If even half of them are as good as I'm expecting this will be a great season. I just wish they'd do a preseason episode like the did with the Mac Serial Killer one last year.
Boner Kawanger Posted September 18, 2008 Report Posted September 18, 2008 Well, since it comes on tonight, maybe you can wait IGN has interviews, clips, and a spoiler-heavy review online now. It has me very excited. After all, Rookie of the Year is one my favorites. http://tv.ign.com/articles/911/911256p1.html
migoli Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I damn near fell of my chair laughing at the end of that second one, think we might have a new guys life to ruin multiple times. and this great line ".....we got monkey......"
Brett Favre Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 lol. I felt bad for that guy. Awesome ending. Which episode was better? I thought manhunt had potential but felt a little flat, although I liked the ending with the sour and sweaty balls. The second one was top notch.
2GOLD Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 The Ghostbusters theme, the mansion scene and Wildcard bitches made episode two the winner for me. The first one was still funny but god damn, the second one was off the wall hilarious at the end. The whole final 10 minutes was non-stop craziness.
In Credible Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I laughed pretty hard at Gorilla Mask.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 19, 2008 Author Report Posted September 19, 2008 Wild Card, Bitches! YEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAWWWWW!
Boner Kawanger Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 I love how Charlie believes that disguises are a necessity for nearly everything. Also thirding WILDCARD BITCHES YEE HAW!! But I laughed harder when Mac said they were going back to the original plan, and Charlie drolly replied "Ah. The generator". As for Manhunters, I really wish I hadn't read the IGN review, since it spoiled every good joke. Frank as Rambo saved the episode. Voting ""It's fun." "It's funny."" as the new thread subtitle.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 19, 2008 Author Report Posted September 19, 2008 Considering they had the gasoline to run the generator now...despite the generator not working in the first place. Sweet Dee getting the water board was hilarious. "I had her admitting stuff she didn't even do!" And come on, any episode where Cricket gets tortured and (presumably) raped is hilarious stuff.
Boner Kawanger Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 Not only that, but it was Parkour Cricket
Boner Kawanger Posted September 19, 2008 Report Posted September 19, 2008 Greatest moment in history? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8vqHErSkmQ Yes.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 19, 2008 Author Report Posted September 19, 2008 The Ghostbusters theme playing in the background is awesome.
Boner Kawanger Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Charlie's acting was off the charts. Just the excitement he conveyed over finding Dee's video diary. Since he wanted to have her diary read to him so bad, his finding a the video version and being so enthralled was great. And if we're talking call backs, I marked out when Dennis brought back his tracksuit. I'll be honest, after tonight, Sunny may have surpassed Arrested Development as my top show.
Youth N Asia Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I absolutly love this show, but forget it exists. Charlie cutting the break and bailing out of the speeding van was classic
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 26, 2008 Author Report Posted September 26, 2008 The waitress sure does get around. She slept with everyone except Charlie and Sweet Dee. Hmmm, sleeping with Dee would be an interesting story... The best episodes are when they turn against one another. They are just ruthless.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Charlie pissing the bed made me laugh harder and louder than anything in recent memory. Also...Green Man rules.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 26, 2008 Author Report Posted September 26, 2008 "Guys, if I'm pissing, just wake me up."
migoli Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Hmm so when I think about it was there no Dee or Frank in that second one last night? Don't think I remember them ever leaving anyone out before in a episode.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted September 26, 2008 Author Report Posted September 26, 2008 They've been left out of episodes before.
In Credible Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 Super drunk Charlie was just all kinds of awesome.
jimmy no nose Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 I didn't even realize Frank and Dee were missing. That second episode was one of the best they've done so far. It was one of the rare opportunities for extended one-on-one interactions between only Charlie and Dennis which tend to be among the best moments on the show.
Boner Kawanger Posted September 27, 2008 Report Posted September 27, 2008 The writer's strike screwed up their filming schedule because Danny DeVito is directing a movie and Kaitlin Olson broke her back and had to wear a back brace. Just like Dee. Also, the best delivered line last night may have been Frank's "Anything can happen on the runway, Dennis" after he threw detergent in Dennis's eyes.
Nightwing Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 "Apparently we also have to name our first child 'Murphy', because that was Robocop's name." AWESOME.
Smartly Pretty Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 That was the best episode of the series. Even better than Nightman, somehow.
Brett Favre Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I think there are too many great ones in Season 1 to declare this one the best. But it was pretty good.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 3, 2008 Author Report Posted October 3, 2008 That was the best episode of the series. Even better than Nightman, somehow. That wasn't even the best episode of the season.
Cheech Tremendous Posted October 3, 2008 Report Posted October 3, 2008 I just started watching the show this season, but tonight's episode was unreal. I haven't laughed that hard at a tv show in years.
Jericholic82 Posted October 4, 2008 Report Posted October 4, 2008 Dee riding the bus and fighting with the driver was pretty funny as well. This season is all kinds of awesome.
