I think I finally realize (even though I've read just about the entire archive now and should have caught on) that when Bryan makes a statement like "This has got to be the first time Shawn has worked an opener in a decade", he's not saying it to open himself up to people like me saying "Shawn worked the opener against Edge at the 2005 Royal Rumble". However, there was a point he was being a bit stubborn with me. He was recapping a 24/7 commercial that showed Hogan pin Flair with a clothesline and commented that someone must be pissed at Flair for editing out the leg drop. I told him that was the real finish, he responded with "why are they talking about the legdrop then?!". I explained move by move how the finish went down and that nothing was edited to make Flair look bad, but nothing was ever said about it afterwards. Oh well, no biggie. And I know it's not a WWE folder complaint but while we're on the topic of posters with Canadian in their title... if you're judging solely by his posts in the Movies/DVDs/TV folders, you'd think CanadianDestroyer213 is a troll but since he posts in other folders, I've come to realize he's just a bit enthusiastic for a lot of second rate horror movies. Seriously, who really cares that Cole turned 40? Don't get me wrong, good for Michael Cole, but does anyone here really care? Hell, Rev. Slick doesn't have anything to do with the WWE anymore other than his random show up during the Wrestlemania dance party. Is there really a point other than "HEY LOOK AT ME POST THIS USELESS NEWS!!!"? I understand that he's just copying and pasting something off of Meltzer's website, but does he really (or anyone else who I may not be mentioning.) have to post every little news that pops up on Meltzer's website or the WWE's website? He's one of the reasons why we have to have a General Discussion or a CTDWAT mega threads because if we didn't, he'd be making threads just to tell us about Cole turning 40 years old today, because it's all sooooooooo fucking important that we know that Michael Cole turned 40 years old! At times Enigma isn't that bad as a poster, it's just when he gets on his "OMG!!!!! JBL was basically bullying him, being rude, condescending and also spilling a drink on Styles at one point. JBL seemed to target Styles since it was his first trip with the company to Iraq, something Styles was looking forward too. Many people in the company don't like when JBL does these things, but they feel that they have to deal with it due to the fact that he is a tenured veteran and has a lot of political stroke backstage. After a few days on the tour, JBL (who was drinking) did something to Styles that upset him so much that he physically retaliated. Several wrestlers tried to break up the situation, but JBL broke free. This is when Styles threw a punch that not only laid out JBL, but also blackened his eye. Many within the company feel that this is karma, due to the fact that JBL has "hazed" people for years, including the Blue Meanie beat down at the first "One Night Stand" as well as the European Tour where Smackdown talent Palmer Cannon quit the company due to the actions of JBL This was the talk of the locker room last night at Raw. JBL was reportedly very out of character, as he was quiet and subdued backstage. Styles tried to downplay the entire incident when people brought it up. Most feel that this is a double embarrassment for JBL, first of all because he got punched out by an announcer, and secondly because he is very instrumental in setting up the Iraq tours.
