Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 30, 2007 PACKERS WHOO I give credit to the Vikings for playing hard today, down to the last couple minutes. At least Minny isn't getting smacked around by Detroit like "OMG FOR SURE DIVISION WINNER" Chicago.

the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Al is just screwing around. He should know considering how hard it is for many fans to spell out the 6 letters of Eagles in unison, there is no chance of a Phillies chant in unison.

Ced 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Goddamn, awesome onside kick recovery by the Niners to start the 2nd half and Trent Dilfer couldn't wait at least one play to completely ruin the momentum.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 30, 2007 So, Kyle Orton for next Sunday night? My thoughts exactly! I would love to see Ky Orton's preparation for the following week if he gets a chance to play. Drinking large bottles of liquor with a woman of indeterminate age nesteled into his shoulder blades. Yes, Bears fans, Kyle Orton is the answer. And if not, then at the very least, he'll make your so far disastrous season in which you would FOR SURE be one of the NFL's top teams again, a bit more entertaining. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Hey I dealt with the Bears having success for the past couple years, not to mention the supposed scores of so-called experts writing off the Packers and anointing the Bears the #1 team in the NFC (or the Saints, even!), not much to say for the NFC North. Crowning their ass, if you will. Stick to watching the Cubbies if it bugs you so much, Czech.
Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted September 30, 2007 I'm not good at getting personal about sports stuff. Most people with whom I fraternize aren't complete fucking idiots about their teams, so I just make fun of the stereotypes, like "the red-faced dopes of Cardinal Nation" that would get excessively weepy if a pet dog belonging to the peanut vendor in the right field bleachers died. Man in Blak is cool and smart, though. He's not one of those. As for the supposed scores of so-called experts, or the scores of experts, whichever, it seemed like a good idea at the time, I guess. Then again, these same people always seem to pick the Carolina Panthers to win the Super Bowl, so maybe the so-called experts really aren't experts.
Cartman 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 How dumb are the Chargers? Tomlinson is having a great day on only 16 carries, why not run him more agaiunst this pathetic KC defense? I guess they want to "esptablish their passing game" thus leading to Rivers passing to the other team constantly.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 WTF is going on in San Diego? The Chiefs have tied it 16-16 near the end of the third. Tony Gonzalez tied Shannon Sharpe's record for TD catches by a tight end.
snuffbox 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Going by the current momentum of the 'experts' the Bears will probably spring to life next Sunday. Whatever happens against Chicago next week, though, the Packers future will still be far from secure. The two weeks of back-to-back road games against Denver/KC & Detroit(the dreaded Thanksgiving matchup)/Dallas will be very dificult. Next week, if nothing else of great importance, will be a good test of whether Green Bay has recaptured the Lambeau Field advantage that's disappeared the last few years. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Couple results today I didn't expect. Didn't think the Lions would beat the Bears at home, but happy they did. So, are the Lions that good or are the Bears that bad? Same thing goes for Atlanta over Houston. The Bucs, however, are crushing the Panthers in Carolina at the moment. So much for the Niners' resurgence also- 20-3 Seahawks right now, although Alex Smith went out early in the game. I'm glad Denver-Indy is on, because that Seahawks game is terrible. They'll probably win the NFC West again this year, from the looks of it so far. I think Baltimore was an underrated team, and Cleveland seems to be doing fine without a defense. The Brownies might threaten for a wildcard this year, but it would be really close.

Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Didn't think the Lions would beat the Bears at home, but happy they did. So, are the Lions that good or are the Bears that bad? Yes, the Bears are that bad. There is no excuse to giving up three interceptions to the terrible Detroit secondary.
Guest Gym Class Fallout Report post Posted September 30, 2007 Tony Gonzalez tied Shannon Sharpe's record for TD catches by a tight end. When asked for his thoughts, Shannon Sharpe replied, "wuh, duh flubba duh buh, ubbuh fluh duh, see fuh tuh nuh. kuh gruh ruh lay shuh tuh gray tuh uh." 2GOLD 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 I'm more interested in why the picture on the NFL page of Yahoo looks like Brett Favre is about to give one of his teammates a Death Valley Driver. And I hope Norv Turner didn't unpack anything in San Diego. He may not be staying long if the Chargers keep this up.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 What a lucky interception for San Diego. That may save this game for them. EDIT: Or not. Rivers fumble => Brackenridge recovery => TD. That should be the ball game.

snuffbox 0 Report post Posted September 30, 2007 I'm more interested in why the picture on the NFL page of Yahoo looks like Brett Favre is about to give one of his teammates a Death Valley Driver. Favre likes to carry teammates, usually Donald Driver, around on his shoulders in celebration. In that photo's case it is Greg Jennings after catching Favre's 421st touchdown pass.
