I just read an article after my post about the show's location. The fictional name of the county (even though there are 4-5 states with Camden County) is named after Greg Garcia's son. He was familiar with the Maryland area, so he used it for several locations. His intentions were to make the town and county in an undisclosed part of the country, as shown by Joy and Earl driving to Vegas during the night to get married. So, the show is basically set in Anywhere, USA.

Eh... my area isn't much better we got Stephen King, Judd Nelson, Linda Lavin (from Alice), and Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer, Ian Crocker.

 

 

And this is definitely the worst season of My Name is Earl, it hasn't gotten to the point where it's unwatchable yet but the gimmicks are getting tired and the shows are a bit less funnier than they were in the first two seasons.

And is it just me or is 30 Rock by far the most inconsistant sitcom on television? Every time I watch it, it's either really good or awful. There's a little bit more of the former luckily but not much. Tonight's episode was terrible.

They should've acknowledged David Schwimmer as such, though, because if you're doing a meta thing where it's NBC and former/current NBC stars are always being referred to, how do you have Friends not exist? It would've been funnier were it David Schwimmer himself as the delusional washed up actor.

 

I really didn't need to see Al Gore, though. That was painful. I can't wait for this whole promotion to get horrible reviews.

Actually Al Gore was funnier than Schwimmer I thought. "Somewhere a whale needs help." And he reaches for his collar like Superman? Awesome. They shouldn't have ruined that in the previews though, it would have been a real spit take moment then.

 

Also I don't like David Schwimmer. I don't know why, but I don't like him.

I was gonna watch Earl, but there's an episode of M*A*S*H on with Trapper and Blake, AND Leslie Nielsen is in it, so fuck it, I'll stick with the classics.

Earl wasn't great, but 30 Rock had one of it's better eps of the season in my opinion.

There was too much going on in Earl for a half hour show, they should have cut out the Catalina subplot. It was a pretty blah episode outside of Darnell having contractions which made me chuckle despite myself.

I haven't been able to get into Earl this season. Him going to jail was a really good cliffhanger last season, but the energy the show used to have just isn't there anymore. I've been holding off on the "get Earl out of prison, stat" thing since I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, but I'm on board now. He needs to get out of jail quick.

i dont like scabs

 

i came over to use darnels computer and he said he wouldnt help me out today. he said that the people that write stuff werent writing stuff anymore right now cus they were mad at their bossses. he said that all the writers of all the things that they turn into stuff where somebody else is sayin what they wrote were real mad because they were only getting paid once for their job.

 

 

i didnt really understand that real well but he said that a lot of people get paid more than once for their job and that they just wanted to taste what the big companys were makin off their hard work.

 

i guess its kinda like when alll those guys didnt want to work in the mines because their lungs were goin bad and they were dieing so they told their bosses they wouldnt come back to work until they got some funny little masks to wear so they didnt get rotten lungs. so i guess no ones supposed to write anything down while they are fightin with their bosses, like how no one went down in the mines to dig around while those guys were yellin about blacklung.

 

 

darnell keeps comin in here and sayin PENS DOWN but i dont have a pen.

Earl comes back next Thursday and I saw a spoiler preview of the episode..
