Don't have time to do a full writeup right now, but wanted to get this started.

Colorado Rockies vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Chicago Cubs vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Indians

Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox

This should be a fantastic postseason, both league races are wide open.

My usual pick who I don't want to win would result in

Philly

Chicago

New York

the The Angels Angels of Anaheim

But in reality I see it like this

Philly

Chicago

New York

Boston

I think Philly-Chicago and Boston-NYY would be best for baseball as a business and provide the best matchups for the fans. I know a lot of people are sick of the Sox and Yanks, but they are still the two most popular teams with a ton of backstory and a history of good games.

What I want to see:

Sox-Indians

Cubs-Phillies

For the most part I think that's also what will happen, with the next most likely matchup being DBacks-Phillies

MLB.com officially endorsing stubhub. If there was an "another reason MLB sucks" thread that'd be #1.

Predictions:

ALDS

Red Sox over Angels in 5

Yankees over Indians in 3

NLDS:

Phillies over Rockies in 3

Cubs over Diamondbacks in 4

ALCS:

Yankees over Red Sox in 6

NLCS:

Phillies over Cubs in 7

World Series:

Yankees over Phillies in 5

Mind you, the idea of seeing the Yankees and the Phillies in the World Series is horrifying to me, as is a subsequent Yankee win.

I'm hoping for An Indians-Cubs series with Cleveland winning. Indians fans will have their championship, Cubs fans will have their pennant, and they can both stop bitching.

Much like the American government, Czech has made the Indians disappear

Best Slayer post ever.

Who I want to win:

Red Sox

Who will win:

Red Sox

Cubs

Phillies

I have been rooting for the Phillies to make the playoffs for years. I don't even know why. I'm not a Phillies fan, but for some reason I have wanted to see them make it. This year, I actually have a reason, as my former high school mate (I wasn't friends with him, but I met him) Jayson Werth plays for Philly.

I really want to see the Cubs go all the way. I do not want to see the Angels or Indians win, the Indians being the absolute worst possible champion for me. Any other team would be not so bad.

Does anyone else find it crazy that, not only are the Rockies in the playoffs, but they ended up 1/2 game out of the best overallr ecord in the National League? No one saw that coming. No one. Not even noone.
