Cartman Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Devin hester is insane. Fucking Insane. Oh and FUCK YOU CARSON PALMER.
CanadianChris Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Wow, Griese with the 81-yard TD pass to Hester (who else?) to tie it against Minnesota.
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 The officials in the GB/WSH game are freaking horrible. They almost give the Packers the red zone on an obvious non-call, while the drive before the Official sits there and watches Portis get face-masked but doesn't throw the flag. The bad calls haven't been one-sided. Ex- that non-call on what should have been a Franks touchdown reception. Dude, if lineman doesn't hold....Farve is sacked from behind before he even throws the ball. Bullshit excuse. As if Washington's offensive linemen or their secondary haven't been holding all day as well. Also, it's spelt Favre, not Farve. Not that hard, dude.
snuffbox Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Green Bay's defense was just destroyng Washington at the end. Big win.
Cartman Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Peterson for MVP. Dude just ran back the kickoff 56 yards...
NoCalMike Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Well the Redskins play another game with the headline: A Tale of Two Halves, first half domination, a second half collapse; Missed oppurtunities equals a close loss.
NoCalMike Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Green Bay's defense was just destroyng Washington at the end. Big win. Well yeah, when you get a team into "Have to pass to stay alive mode" it usually works out for the defense.
snuffbox Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 And yet that didn't help the vaunted Redskin defense much when they knew Green Bay would have to rely on the pass to stay alive RIGHT FROM THE START.
CanadianChris Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Vikings win with a 55-yard FG. Career long for Ryan Longwell.
devo Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Awful, awful game for the Titans Jets today. Jones has a good showing with 130 yards, but it's too bad the rest of the team decided not to show up. Pennington has a downright awful day, the defense basically was ran on at will (the Eagles would have put up 22 points had it not been for the wind) and the playcalling was baffling. The fact that the Jets couldn't get a first down near the end of the game with a 2nd and 1 speaks to just how disjointed the team is playing right now. For Christ's sake, bring in Clemens. If the season wasn't over last week, it is now.
Cartman Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Woot Longwell 55 yearder for the win! Amazing finish.
Slayer Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Would've been nice if they switched to that after the GB game ended I swear the "rules" regarding game-switching seem so damn arbitrary sometimes
strummer Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Vikings win. Damn it really is 1996 all over again with the Packers and Cowboys on top of the NFC by a pretty wide margin
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 I'd HOPE this season ends the same way the `96 season did. Except I really don't think I'd want the Packers to face the Patriots at all if possible.
NoCalMike Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 And yet that didn't help the vaunted Redskin defense much when they knew Green Bay would have to rely on the pass to stay alive RIGHT FROM THE START. Well, that is why Bret Favre is a HOFer, and Jason Campbell has had about 12 starts under his belt. It also doesn't help that by the 4th quarter the Redskins were down to almost having to put in a D-lineman as an O-lineman. Yeah I know, injuries are part of the game, however that is a hell of a lot of injuries on the O-line for that situation to need to happen. Hell, the Redskins should have been up 28-7 at the half but their WRs decided to not catch a football today. And Anyway...Skins defense gave up 10 points.(The other TD was a defensive) Three points less than their season average(10 points). They stopped the Packers on offense, when Portis turned it over inside the 10 yard line. Sean Taylor Intercepted the ball twice, and if he had better hands, probably would have four or five INTs. The Defense stopped the Packers just about every time they had to. I'd say the Redskins defense did just fine. Farve 188 pass yards, Packers 225 total yards on offense. Good win by the Packers.
NoCalMike Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Vikings win. Damn it really is 1996 all over again with the Packers and Cowboys on top of the NFC by a pretty wide margin You do mean record-wise correct? I'd say the Skins/Packers looked pretty evenly matched today.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 The Cowboys are done already lol
Kinetic Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Testaverde does, in fact, get the start for Carolina. Can the grizzled 27-year veteran turn back the clock?
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 How is that Marvin? Its 14-0 already not even out of the 1st quarter
Brett Favre Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 The Pats need to face some good teams.
Guest Gym Class Fallout Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 This thread is where they should drop the bomb.
Hawk 34 Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 How is that Marvin? Its 14-0 already not even out of the 1st quarter It was 7-0 when you made your assessment. Can we also curb the fantasy talk here? Every other comment is merely just condemning someone for not performing to your desired levels regardless to how it actually assisted in their actual team's win/loss.

NoCalMike Posted October 14, 2007 Report Posted October 14, 2007 Yeah it would be nice if every week "Fantasy" football had it's own thread.

The Pats were looking like they were going to score again when I made the comment and the Cowboys had generally looked like crap so far anyway so...
