MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 If the Ravens win today (which Im starting to worry considering Todd Heap, Ray Lewis and Chris McCallister are probably going to miss the game) they'll be 5-2. Tough schedule after the bye, but they do play Miami and Seattle. Pair that with 2 home games vs Cincy and Cleveland that they should win (yes, I know they lost to both, but both games are in Baltimore and the Ravens should be healthy after the bye) and theres no way they finish less than 9-7 even if they lose to SD,Indy,NE, and Pittsburgh (2). 9-7 should get them at least into the playoffs as a Wild Card. NFL Net just threw some interesting stats up: Ravens #1 in total offensive plays, #3 in Time of Possession, #27 in Touchdowns (8) and #30 in Red Zone Efficiency. Its pretty crazy how a team can have the ball so much and run so many plays and NOT score TDs.
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 New England is going to put up 70 if the Dolphins keep tackling like they did on the TD pass to Stallworth.
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Well, since Buffalo's offense can't do shit, it's nice to see Baltimore's defense helping them out with all these penalties. (of course Buffalo probably STILL won't get anything off of it)
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 Gotta love Sportsline. They have a score of Tampa Bay 0, Detroit -6.
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 Geez, it's not bad enough they're rolling up the score on everyone...now Brady thinks he needs a degree of difficulty, throwing to Moss in double coverage for a TD.
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 Miami couldn't stop these guys even if they were allowed two extra defenders on the field.
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Ok, while this is funny watching the Pats run up the score on Miami, can I get switched to a more competitive game?
Guest tonyjaymzretro Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 i think every one on the pats offense will get a td from brady today...jesus...has he even thrown an incomplete pass yet?
CanadianChris Posted October 21, 2007 Author Report Posted October 21, 2007 i think every one on the pats offense will get a td from brady today...jesus...has he even thrown an incomplete pass yet? Yeah, he was 0/2 on the last possession.
milliondollarchamp Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 There should be a new rule that when you play the Pats there should be a mercy rule because I am sure Miami would like it.
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Damnit. 46 yard TD for McGahee. Now that the defense is allowing points, the Bills are fucked.
Hawk 34 Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 I think Washington's record is going to fall today, maybe by the end of the 3rd quarter.
Slayer Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 The Pats are already halfway to the '98 Vikings record point total of 556

Its pretty crazy how a team can have the ball so much and run so many plays and NOT score TDs. I don't see the Ravens making the playoffs this year...and 9-7 may be a stretch...You say they should beat cleveland? I doubt it...Cleveland has an offense that can score, the ravens can't score unless its a matt stover field goal...same goes with cincy....the Ravens are only 4-2 because theyve played horrible, horrible teams (jets, rams, 49ers, and cardinals...when the best team is the Cards, you know theyre bad teams) at this point the ravens would be lucky to end the season ranked 2nd in their division
TheSSNintendo Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 This just in: It's going to be a LONG season for the 49ers.
J.B. Buzzkill Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Still my favorite Randy Moss TD:
devo Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Niners block a Giants punt in the end zone for a safety. Haven't seen that in a loooong time.
Zetterberg is God Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Looks like Buffalo might win this one. They could have been 4-2.
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Looks like Buffalo might win this one. Scary to think they could have been 4-2. Yep, but they screwed themselves out of those two wins with horrible clock management on their last drives.
Guest tonyjaymzretro Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Trent Edwards looks good, and lynch would be the rookie rb of the year if not for adrian peterson
milliondollarchamp Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Congrats Miami u didnt allow the pats to score in the quarter

Yep, but they screwed themselves out of those two wins with horrible clock management on their last drives. Nevermind. Looks like they're on their way to fucking this one up too.
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Fuck. Edwards throws a pick six, 19-14 now. I should have known Buffalo would find a way to blow it. Edit: yay! Rolle was down, not a TD, just an INT
Guest tonyjaymzretro Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Fuck. Edwards throws a pick six, 19-14 now. I should have known Buffalo would find a way to blow it. haha and here i am thinking "damnit i knew the ravens would find a way to blow it"
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Miami challenging the spread! Can they cover?!
fazzle Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Ok, NOW it's 19-14. Back to my regularly scheduled Bills bitching.
MFer Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Jon Kitna with yet another attempt to get himself killed. And now Calvin Johnson is looking like the #2 overall pick.
Zetterberg is God Posted October 21, 2007 Report Posted October 21, 2007 Buffalo pulls it off. Again though, that should have put them at 4-2 and not the opposite.
