MFer 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 What's with all these players guaranteeing victory over the Browns? First Joey Porter does (didn't he also do it against the Raiders too?), now it's Randy McMichael (with Steven Jackson's backing I believe). I know the Browns are a much improved team, but they're still the Browns.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 Jamal Lewis did it too, and he also set the single game rushing record which I also think he said he would do, which was pretty damn impressive.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 26, 2007 The Rams shouldn't be guaranteeing victory over anybody, with the possible exception of Miami.
devo 0 Report post Posted October 27, 2007 Not like it matters at this point, but Jonathan Vilma's out for the year. http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d8...mp;confirm=true Time to see what David Harris can do.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 The field at Wembley looks pretty bad. They're digging up big chunks of turf on every play.
the pinjockey 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 I love Baldinger's explanation of why the Eagles don't run fade routes: "McNabb can't throw them"?!? I am sorry, but if you are a quarterback and can't throw a jump ball to your 6'5" receiver you are a retard. No wonder they are having such struggles, if the middle of the field isn't given to them they have no other options. Oh, and the brilliant strategy of running right into the strength of the Vikings defense is brilliant.

Ripper 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 Peyton Manning just reminded me what I don't like about him. He keeps throwing these shitty passes into coverage and then throws up his hands like its everyones fault but his. Dude..you are throwing shitty passes. Stop passing the buck. Slayer 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 Between that and the Arizona-SF game in Mexico City a couple years ago, the NFL shows it really knows how to market the sport on foreign soil
bob_barron 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 This game is awful. The Giants can't be bothered to show up and the Dolphins just suck

CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 How much is the NFL paying Siragusa for saying the Brits "got a good taste of a good football game today"?

Guest Report post Posted October 28, 2007 San Diego scored one of the funniest TD's I've ever seen. On a punt, the snap went over Matt Turk's head, and instead of falling on it and taking the safety, he tries to knock the ball out of the endzone for the safety. He slips while reaching down to swipe the ball, and slides a couple feet away from the ball, leaving Cromartie to calmly pick the ball up for the touchdown. They'll be showing that one during the halftime highlights of the other games.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 Uh, I'm not an NFL coach or player or anything, but when Mike Vrabel catches a TD pass pretty much every time he comes in as an eligible receiver at the goal line, and he comes in the game, why would you leave him COMPLETELY UNCOVERED IN THE END ZONE? Cheech Tremendous 0 Report post Posted October 28, 2007 This year's Patriots aren't even fun to watch.
