What's with all these players guaranteeing victory over the Browns? First Joey Porter does (didn't he also do it against the Raiders too?), now it's Randy McMichael (with Steven Jackson's backing I believe). I know the Browns are a much improved team, but they're still the Browns.

I love Baldinger's explanation of why the Eagles don't run fade routes: "McNabb can't throw them"?!? San Diego scored one of the funniest TD's I've ever seen. On a punt, the snap went over Matt Turk's head, and instead of falling on it and taking the safety, he tries to knock the ball out of the endzone for the safety. He slips while reaching down to swipe the ball, and slides a couple feet away from the ball, leaving Cromartie to calmly pick the ball up for the touchdown. They'll be showing that one during the halftime highlights of the other games.

Uh, I'm not an NFL coach or player or anything, but when Mike Vrabel catches a TD pass pretty much every time he comes in as an eligible receiver at the goal line, and he comes in the game, why would you leave him COMPLETELY UNCOVERED IN THE END ZONE?
