Craig Th Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Well, Winter movie season is upon us. I sometimes like the Winter movie season better than the summer movie season. What are some movies you want to see? I am really digging the new trailer for I Am Legend. And I want to see Bee Movie, just because Seinfeld is doing it.
King Kamala Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Juno Be Kind, Rewind Ditto. Plus up here in Portland, we don't get a lot of the good fall movies till winter so there should be plenty to keep me occupied in the coming months.
bob_barron Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I think Be Kind, Rewind got pushed to next year. I always consider winter to start around Thanksgiving, I feel we're still in fall
Craig Th Posted October 31, 2007 Author Report Posted October 31, 2007 I think they are trying to push it up. Just like how the summer movie season starts in April now.
4hartthreat Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I'm looking forward to: Juno Atonement No Country For Old Men Grace is Gone The Savages The Orphanage and if January counts, the JJ Abrams project
MrRant Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Beowolf looks interesting, but more like a rental.
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Because where I come from Winter movie season means the first 3 months in 2008, isn't that Project Cloverfield movie coming out in January?
bob_barron Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Project Cloverfield comes out in January. boxofficemojo defines it as: Winter is defined as the first day after New Year's week or weekend through the Thursday before the first Friday in March.Winter is defined as the first day after New Year's week or weekend through the Thursday before the first Friday in March. Spring is defined as the first Friday in March through the Thursday before the first Friday in May. Summer is defined as the first Friday in May through Labor Day Weekend. Fall is defined as the day after Labor Day Weekend through the Thursday before the First Friday in November. Holiday is defined as the first Friday in November through New Year's week or weekend. So we're actually entering the Holiday Movie Season
DrVenkman PhD Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 Well since it sounds like "Holiday Season" is what Mole was trying to ax, "Fred Claus" looks interesting for what it is.
Guest Vitamin X Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I Am Legend, Beowulf, and Cloverfield. Be Kind, Rewind if it was coming out during this time as well. I heard Juno looks pretty good as well.
boobshaw Posted October 31, 2007 Report Posted October 31, 2007 I just browsed IMDb's release dates and holy crap there are a lot of great holiday movies coming out I want to see: Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium I'm Not There (the Bob Dylan movie where like 8 people play him) Walk Hard National Treasure 2 Juno Charlie Wilson's War
