JHawk Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 So here's how the Browns-Cards game will end. With the game tied at 56, Rackers will attempt a 64-yard field goal with one second left on the clock. The ball will carom off the roof of the stadium, bounce off the crossbar, and land in the hands of Josh Cribbs. Cribbs will run 108-yards for an apparent touchdown, but will fumble through the back of the endzone. The ball will hit the back pylon and land in the hands of Cardinals cornerback Antrell Rolle, who will run 110 yards for a touchdown, then perform a triple lutz in the end zone. The referees will spend 20 minutes debating about whether they are allowed to debate about the play, declare a tie, then go out for beers.
dh86 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Is Calvin Johnson active??!!?? This feels like Mike Williams all over again
snuffbox Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Damn, Minnesota is really beating up poor Detroit.
MFer Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Pathetic effort by Detroit (the D in particular)...I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose out the rest of the way.
CanadianChris Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Well, Detroit's just getting destroyed now. 35-10.
fazzle Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Man, 6-2 seems like it was so long ago.
snuffbox Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Vikings are playing like they want another wildcard bid.
Slayer Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 I can safely say that, especially after watching them in September, that I didn't think the Vikes could be .500 this late in the season, but I'm glad to be surprised By contrast, just a month ago Detroit seemed to be coasting its way into fulfilling Kitna's promise of a 10-win season
snuffbox Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Another touchdown for Peterson. 42-10 now.
Slayer Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 This makes up for the bumblefest from earlier this season
fazzle Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Redskins up 16-8 on the Bills. This game is so fucking boring.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 All Bills games are boring accept for the Dallas Monday Night game
The Robfather Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Lions look to be about done. It doesn't get easier for them on the schedule. Vikings was a must win, really. They got Cowboys next week, then San Diego. I don't see them making the playoffs as a wildcard. They'll probably finish the season 7-9.
CanadianChris Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Miami is now down 17 to the Jets. The dream is still alive.

MFer Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Well...I did predict the Lions to go 7-9 before season started but I definitely don't like the route they're taking to get there.
CanadianChris Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 David Garrard's INT-less streak is over.
Guest Pizza Hut's Game Face Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Sean Taylor's death was too much for Joe Gibbs to overcome, because it made him get "lost in the moment" and call consecutive timeouts, which is a 15-yard penalty. I'm sure the rest of the team fought harder, though! This just makes their emotional rollercoaster continue.
fazzle Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Thank you Joe Gibbs, for trying to call back to back timeouts to ice Lindell, causing a 15 yard penalty, and letting Lindell hit a 36 yarder to win the game instead of a 51 yarder.
CanadianChris Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Did you know calling consecutive timeouts to freeze the opposing kicker is a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct? Well, Joe Gibbs apparently didn't, and it turned a 51-yard FG attempt into a 36-yard game winner for Buffalo.
the pinjockey Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Jesus Tapdancing Christ. Westbrook bails the Eagles out with a punt return down to the 15 and not once in three plays does he touch the ball?!? I am officially on the Fire Andy Reid bandwagon. 4th down and you leave you best player in to block. The whole Feeley fairy tale lasted all of a week as well. I guess he though Lofa Tutupu was an Eagle the way he threw right to him 3 times. Bring on the Kolb era.
Guest Pizza Hut's Game Face Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Give him a break, the trying circumstances made him call the timeout! The backdrop of emotions! Another game against the Bears on Thursday! UH OH, ONE MORE PLAY FOR THE SKINS TO WIN! THIS IS WHERE EMOTIONS WILL MAKE YOU FIGHT HARDER, GUYS. "This really is a prayer."
bob_barron Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Did Joe Gibbs call two timeouts resulting in an unsportmanlike conduct penalty?
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Awww and in the highlights at the end, they don't even show Gibbs' coaching gaffe there.
CanadianGuitarist Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Wow. I just turned it on to see the unsportsmanlike, and heard the play-by-play guys essentially say "What a terrible week for Washington! First a player dies, and now this!"
bob_barron Posted December 2, 2007 Report Posted December 2, 2007 Buffalo is a disgraceful franchise for winning that game.
