Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted December 31, 2007 The Lakers are not going to win this game. Between the refs, Kobe going cold and their own ineptitude, the Lakers are getting blown the fuck out. Edit: Crittendon must think he is on the And1 tour or something. Dumbass.
Guest Report post Posted December 31, 2007 We had the shittiest shooting performance of the year tonight. It's no surprise we lost. Lot of open shots, but none of them dropped. Although it's certainly nowhere near the reason we lost, I don't know why the fuck the Lakers wore those dumbass short shorts. Save that shit for a game against the T-Wolves or something. You could tell they weren't entirely focused on the game...more focused on not getting a wedgie or not having their balls bunched up, I thought. Anyway, 5 winnable games up next. Should go on a 5 game winning streak against these teams.
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 31, 2007 If they wanted to be real men about it, they wouldn't have worn the long tight shorts underneath. Pussies.
Guest Report post Posted December 31, 2007 They should've worn form fitting jerseys too. As it was, they all looked like clowns, with giant sized shirts and small shorts.

Guest My Pal, the Tortoise Report post Posted December 31, 2007 They should've worn form fitting jerseys too. As it was, they all looked like clowns, with giant sized shirts and small shorts. Isn't there some reasonable compromise between short-shorts and the culottes that players wear now?

Guest Report post Posted December 31, 2007 That's as close as we'll ever see to someone wearing the OLD short shorts. Isn't there some reasonable compromise between short-shorts and the culottes that players wear now? I doubt it. I don't care what the players wear, as long as the colors look nice. I wish the entire league would go back to the uniforms from the 80's, like what we were wearing last night.
Guest My Pal, the Tortoise Report post Posted January 1, 2008 Whirlwind assessment of the NBA's fashion: Logos on the back of the neck are stupid, baggy shorts are stupid, all this blue-on-blue is overdone, Nuggets need rainbows, Jazz need mountains and purple/sky/teal/copper again, the Wizards/76ers/T'Wolves/Warriors are '90s relics that should be modern, the Magic are modern but should be a '90s relic, Hornets should be black and yellow, go back to drop-shadowed numbers for the Lakers, and the Rockets and Hawks need to go back to red and yellow. Mr. S£im Citrus 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 Your assessment sucks, and no hetero male should be made to wear a jersey with a rainbow on it.
Maztinho 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 And if you really go 80's old school with the Jazz you have the Ball making a Note for the J and azz underneath that... with Purple, green and gold. Although I did like the copper and black alt uni's the Jazz wore in the late-90's. And Sim... old school Hawai'i says hello. At least the school dropped "Rainbow" from it's name. I could see that going over really well with the BCS fans. The Bulldogs vs the Rainbow Warriors? Yeah...
Guest Report post Posted January 1, 2008 Logos on the back of the neck are stupid, Never notice baggy shorts are stupid, if that's what the players like... all this blue-on-blue is overdone, Yes it is Nuggets need rainbows, Jazz need mountains and purple/sky/teal/copper again, the Wizards/76ers/T'Wolves/Warriors are '90s relics that should be modern Yes to all that the Magic are modern but should be a '90s relic I like those, but like the black ones with white pinstripes better Hornets should be black and yellow, go back to drop-shadowed numbers for the Lakers, and the Rockets and Hawks need to go back to red and yellow. And yes to all that as well

And, unless I'm mistaken, UH licked balls when they were the "Rainbow Warriors," so citing them doesn't exactly help the pro-rainbow argument.
PUT THAT DICK IN MY MOUTH! 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 As far as basketball fashion goes, current NBA uniforms are nowhere near as bad as those new wave get ups that Nike's trying to force into the college game. Skin-tight jerseys plus shorts that billow like gauchos. Yuck.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 Slim, that's a version of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers argument. They got better players and that is why they are better, not by changing the uniform. If anything my respect for UH went down for getting rid of the rainbows because of some wack ass homosexual context. Pussies.

And actually they had only a tiny little logo with a Rainbow on the shoulder near the collarbone, they've always had nuclear green unis.
Kurt Angle Mark 0 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 Clippers are in the middle of a 13 game run in which I was expecting them to end with one win, they got that game(Minnesota) last night and won. So I'm happy

The Hornets' seafoam green/yellow/purple color scheme works because those are the colors of Mardi Gras.
Golgo 13 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 Your assessment sucks, and no hetero male should be made to wear a jersey with a rainbow on it. Sorry, but the Nuggets skyline jersey is the exception. In fact, they should stop dicking around and use those as the alt.
Guest My Pal, the Tortoise Report post Posted January 2, 2008 Yeah, those were great. I don't mind the light blue and yellow, really, because they're better than the forgettable '90s stuff, but the alternative is even cooler. To amend my Hornets thought: black and yellow would've been a good change had they not been forced back into the land of soggy apathy. The Mardi Gras colors are a nice touch, but the teal is still a holdover from the early '90s teal craze. They should steal the old New Orleans Jazz colors, since Utah is busy stealing Dallas's colors right now.
Rendclaw 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 Black and yellow for the Hornets should have been adopted from the team's inception. But I guess that was too simple. Speaking of simple, I love the Pistons' 1957 throwbacks that they have been wearing for some home games. Pearl white with raised red lettering. Looks pretty nice. King Kamala 0 Report post Posted January 2, 2008 I'm going down to Boston to see the Celtics-Rockets game tonight. I haven't been to The Garden* since seeing a scintillating battle between The Celtics and The Atlanta Hawks last March. *It's still awkward calling the FleetCenter/TD BankNorth(Whatever it's called now) Garden "The Garden" because it's really not. It's just quicker to type.

alfdogg 0 Report post Posted January 3, 2008 And the Kings are playing without Artest, Bibby, and Martin. The Knicks are getting torched by John Salmons and Francisco Garcia. Isiah: Just fucking quit, dude, and keep what little dignity you have left. Speaking of which, the Pacers turn in a whopping 28-point second half, and shoot *31%* in losing to Memphis. Andre Owens must have some incriminating photos of Jim O'Brien stashed away somewhere. Who the fuck is this guy, and why does he get to start in Tinsley's place while Travis Diener sits on the bench and collects dust.
