Human Fly Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Meltz is teasing something about a multi-time world champion that has signed with WWE. Is he referring to Harris or Killings or someone else?
Diamonddust Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Meltz is teasing something about a multi-time world champion that has signed with WWE. Is he referring to Harris or Killings or someone else? Maybe it's Sid.
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 http://www.nationalledger.com/artman/publi...272618125.shtml What Hilarious. "Bondage pictures, like totally, omg" She's been in soft core porn, was in the entire 1st season of Playboy's Totally Busted (Which is actually quite funny), countless other photo shoots, and now they just realize she took a couple of bondage photos. Nice.
Mecca Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Some of it is, some of it isn't......I'm not going to go through and edit through the F4W recap news, especially if they make references to stories already posted that is new shit then it becomes confusing. I'm sure it ruined peoples day to scan through something for 4 minutes.
Perfection Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 http://www.nationalledger.com/artman/publi...272618125.shtml What Hilarious. "Bondage pictures, like totally, omg" She's been in soft core porn, was in the entire 1st season of Playboy's Totally Busted (Which is actually quite funny), countless other photo shoots, and now they just realize she took a couple of bondage photos. Nice. I'm not sure of the big deal either. Not long after she first signed with the wwe people started posting pictures of her being tied up in a bathtub and stuff like having her toes sucked. It's been known for a long time.
Jingus Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 For god's sake, this is a woman who showed her naked vagina to the entire world in Playboy. Meanwhile, the bondage photos are nothing but a few fake-looking, clearly staged pics of her tied to a post... while fully clothed. That's all. Who cares?
Corey_Lazarus Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Why isn't more of an uproar made about Mickie James appearing in some pseudo-hardcore shoots?
TheFranchise Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Because looks-wise, she's very overrated, in my opinion. She's behind Maria, Kelly Kelly & even Melina.
mysterious_w Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I rank her 2nd, sometimes even 1st (she flip flops with Maria).
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Because looks-wise, she's very overrated, in my opinion. She's behind Maria, Kelly Kelly & even Melina. No way.
haVoc Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I watched TNA a few weeks back for the first time in a while and I have to admit I didn't hate the womens matches. Who do you guys think have the better female workers? WWE or TNA?
Hawk 34 Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 That's biggest difference between TNA and WWE. WWE has 2 passable workers who rarely ever do anything worthwhile, TNA has good workers who get to shine. TNA will find a way to screw it up but the fact WWE didn't pull the trigger on Kong before TNA did was a big blunder.
Thanks for the Fish Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I watched TNA a few weeks back for the first time in a while and I have to admit I didn't hate the womens matches. Who do you guys think have the better female workers? WWE or TNA? TNA by far. WWE treats it's women like second class citizens, eye candy first and second and wrestlers third. It's telling that the head of the writers Stephanie books women so shoddily. With the exception of Christie Hemme, all of TNA's ladies are indie girls.
Toxxic Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Oh, and Gail Kim. You know, former WWE Women's Champion. TNA DEFINITELY have better women's wrestlers. They've got the best North American women's division bar SHIMMER that I know of.
Mecca Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 PWI and the Observer are teasing that a former WWE Maineventer and 2 time world champ is on his way back..... It's apparently the Big Show, he's down to 440 and has supposedly signed or agreed to a contract.
DrVenkman PhD Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 So, ol Paul is going back to his alleged "slave name" eh? God, why do wrestlers do interviews like that after they leave the E? No one buys that they won't come back one day.

TNA will find a way to screw it up but the fact WWE didn't pull the trigger on Kong before TNA did was a big blunder. Do you honestly think they'd let Kong be dominant? When they had Bertha Faye/Rhonda Singh, they wouldn't let her use the power moves that made her a big star in Japan. Beth Phoenix is pretty much the biggest woman, size-wise, you're going to see in the WWE at this point.
Thanks for the Fish Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Oh, and Gail Kim. You know, former WWE Women's Champion. I don't know if this was directed at me, but by "indie girls" I meant girls who wrestled the indie circuit and worked their way up. Gail Kim worked the indie circuit, and was trained by Ron Hutchinson in Toronto before catching the wwe's eye.
Thanks for the Fish Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 So, ol Paul is going back to his alleged "slave name" eh? God, why do wrestlers do interviews like that after they leave the E? No one buys that they won't come back one day. Guess the boxing thing didn't work out for him and he needs to eat. Imagine the food bills for a 440lb man... 44olbs is what 60lbs less when he left - it won't even be noticible.
Enigma Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Mickie James didn't do pseudo-hardcore. There are multiple pictures of her fingering herself. That's way past pseudo.
Thanks for the Fish Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 Mickie James didn't do pseudo-hardcore. There are multiple pictures of her fingering herself. That's way past pseudo. Hence a good reason why she didn't keep her Alexis Laree ring name upon her wwe debut. Imagine little Tommy googling his favorite diva only to find those pics. I wonder if the existance of these pics are why the wwe really never got behind her...
foleyfanforever88 Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 I watched TNA a few weeks back for the first time in a while and I have to admit I didn't hate the womens matches. Who do you guys think have the better female workers? WWE or TNA? I watched a full episode for the first time a couple weeks ago and I noticed a difference with the women too. WWE has Mickie, Victoria, and Beth on one tier, Melina and a couple others on a second tier, and all the rest way on the bottom because they can't wrestle to save their lives. TNA has Gail Kim who is a good/great worker, Awesome Kong who is DIFFERENT and pushed as she should be, Jackie Moore who is decent, Roxxi Lavaeux who I especially like for some reason and is a good worker too, ODB who's character I don't like but is still good in the ring, and then Angelina Love and Velvet Sky who can pull off being both sexy and not atrocious in the ring. The only thing I have against the TNA Knockout division is Christy Hemme.
Mike wanna be Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 They got behind her, she was just a victim of horrible timing. She was Trish's psycho stalker, and Trish brought in Beth as Mickie's old psycho stalker. Beth had the jaw injury, Trish had the shoulder injury, and then when Trish came back she & Lita went into their retirement angles. She went over Lita, but without Trish or Lita the roster was comprised of Mickie, *insert former Women's champions*, *insert Diva search women*.
Mecca Posted January 11, 2008 Report Posted January 11, 2008 These things are up now... Chris Harris has told his collegues that his agent has come to terms with WWE to be brought on with a Booking Contract and not a Developmental Contract. James Storm has resigned with TNA officially at the last set of tapings. And from the TNA site... Chris Harris is no longer a member of the TNA Wrestling roster. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors. http://www.tnawrestling.com/content/view/477/84/
Scroby Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Ah so Harris will be booking. Nice, more wrestling bookers is good for WWE.
Enigma Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Ah so Harris will be booking. Nice, more wrestling bookers is good for WWE. Um...
Thanks for the Fish Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Harris will certainly not be on creative/road agent - If I'm not mistaken a "booking contract" is what they call their general wrestler contracts. Wrestlers are classed as independant contractors, so wwe contracts secure "exclusive booking rights" for their services, hence the name "Booking contract".
The Niggardly King Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 Man, sup with the WWE and pyro? They go pyro crazy for a while, giving it to nearly everyone, and then they'll scale back 4 or 5 months later and it will be that way for a couple of years.

MarvinisaLunatic Posted January 12, 2008 Report Posted January 12, 2008 They need to scale it back for HD. Pyro = severe macroblocking in HD which is BAD.
