Both are horrible. I voted Marvin after thinking of just what a sad-sack, miserable, buffoon he is. I used to tolerate Marvin and try to put myself in his shoes. But over the past two years or so, he's just stepped up his Eeyore personality, skipped out on dates to go to an amusement park (which was his highlight of the year), acts like he wants to be known as a bad poster, and then complains about it when he is recognized as such. Marvin wins, but that doesn't excuse MVP for his douchebaggery.

Marvin's escapades have never bothered me to the extent that many others claim. He has his flaws and the stuff in Current Events is borderline ban-worthy, but he still just comes off as a sad sack who's mostly harmless. I don't care to read his stuff, but I'm not offended by it either. Guess I'm in the minority here.

 

But MVP/Deon/Douchebag is just 100 different kinds of awful. I almost don't like to open threads that he's posted in because I don't want to waste my time reading and thinking about what he's written. It's all just utter crap with no redeeming qualities and to me, that makes him the worst poster on the board.

I barely pay attention to Marvin's posts to really care about him... I never go to the CE forum, so I've never seen him troll that forum. The only thing that really pissed me off is when he tried bashing Mr. Slim Citrus for not giving into the HD TV hype.

 

Marvin really comes off as a sad pathetic loser, who needs his HDTV and his technology to enjoy his life, because of his lack of social life.

Deon Dark is a terrible poster, he has been for years, and he's probably not very intelligent in real life. It would be best for him to move on to another board that does wrestling better than we do. However, Marvin has been the worst poster at this board for quite some time now, and has begun to revel in it. As I and others have pointed out, he doesn't have any friends or acquaintances here, no sense of community with the community, he generally just says what he wants to say about Glenn Beck, HDTV, or Hershey Park problems, and if anybody reads or responds to his rants, it's strictly incidental. In recent weeks, however, he's been making a conscious effort to troll, and in recent days, has displayed everything he does to annoy for reaction in a handy list, celebrating his own awful tendencies. He wanted our votes and is on pace to get them; he needs to win this tournament and be sent away more than Deon does. Nobody will miss him, and he won't miss anybody, because we don't like him and he doesn't like us. Maybe he'll be accepted at another board (I know one place that accepts everyone), maybe he'll just be totally dissociated from his peers at the new board he goes to after we kick him out of this one. I don't know. What I do know is that the whole "aw, you guys always ban your scapegoats and then want them back" thing does not apply in this case, if it ever did in the first place. Win the tournament, go, and stay gone.

Marvin is downright awful in CE and if he was as awful in every other folder I would vote for him gladly. However outside of CE, Marvin is merely bad. I'd go as far as to say that Marvin actually is half-decent in the Food Folder. MVP/Deon/Douchebag is truly awful in every shape or form. Like Cheech said, he has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.

Mounds bars suck but I had the fortunate oppertunity to have a Bounty bar and they are 100x better. And yes, Saddam did in fact have a huge stash of them in one of his bunkers.

 

The chocolate skittles are horrible (see post below mine that agrees with me) they taste nothing like chocolate and they have no chocolate in them..

I only mentioned it cause CNN had "MR PROGRESSIVES ARE NAZIS" Jonah Goldberg on to talk about Spitzer which made no sense to me at all.
