Contracts are out for everyone.

 

Right now, I'm considering bowing out at team owner at the end of the season due to my own inactivity. I feel like I've done decent at the helm over the past 3 seasons, but my spare time has become scarce and I don't see that ending anytime soon. So at the end of this season I will most likely surrender my login name outright so somebody can take over the reins from there.

If you're a GM, you have the flex, and you tell an admin in a support ticket a couple weeks in advance of Ced selling the team, it can be transferred to you.

Depth charts were changed; now you can select WR 1-5 and CB 1-5...apparently we didn't do that.

 

I don't know what GMs can do what, but if you give me the power I'll sort it out.

It doesn't help that the WR and CB haven't been sorted out for the last few games my WR has been involved in over 300 plays, and had 4 passes thrown to him.

I blame Annie. Annie took a WR and CB when she went idle, without them the team sucked, and everybody stopped caring.

Well, I've been given GM duties, and I've done some minor work on the CB depth chart.

 

I'll be sending out some contract offers to some WRs, and some CBs. We have three backup safeties playing CB. That's absurd.

 

I'll also be reviewing the players we have. If anyone is frequently inactive, see ya.

I want some input from you guys on what you think the team needs in term of players and/or playcalling direction. Based on our current players, do you feel that we're a pass-heavy offense, or should we depend on the run?

That's the funny thing. We have just enough pieces to start out going in one direction, but at the moment we don't have enough to be any good at either. My QB is very good, despite his numbers, but he only has three feasible options with our third WR and second TE needing time to develop. Meanwhile, our offensive line is good and we have some decent depth (though we could use more), but our running backs are somewhat low-leveled and tend to struggle in games. So in my biased opinion, I say we try and get a high level WR and focus on the passing game. However, we need to give our RBs enough plays so they can get experience and level up. If Abe steps up and we get another WR that can contribute, then offensively we would hopefully be able to make some noise.

1) More cornerbacks & defensive linemen

2) More receivers

 

That should help shore up the pass defense and open up the passing game, which will ideally open the run attack and let us win a freakin game.

 

As it stands they know our defense is going to give up points out the ass and force our offense to pass, and we don't have the depth at WR to do anything through the air.
