I don't know what Spurs fans are like, but...small market fans are inherently better than large market fans. They just are. The only exception to this is Green Bay Packers fans, and that's (a. a product of history and b.) an example of why football is far and away the best American sport.

You have to be fucking kidding me. I thought that the super-flopathon ended last night. What the hell.

Seriously, isn't it well past the point where refs should be able to tell a charge from a flop. If one guy barely moves and the other looks like he has been shot by a cannon ball, he PROBABLY was just flopping around.

I guess I have to wait to till Zaza gets in to start seeing the flop off.

The Hawks don't look like the Hawks, and it's distracting. I keep thinking they're the Nets.

Also re: coverage

One advantage I think ESPN's coverage has over TNT's is that they seem to know more about the teams that don't really get on TV at all. Bill Walton for example always seems to have something insightful to say no matter what two teams you throw into the highlights. But then, for example, when the Pacers went into Denver and won earlier this year, on TNT it was basically "that's a bad loss for Denver, you gotta beat the Pacers." Which is true, but still, the Pacers were on the court too.

Any reason Boston was taking 3's when they were up by 15+? I would say I hope the Hawks win Game 6 but it is clear they are not capable of winning in the Boston Garden, so I'd just say end it there and rest up for those Cavaliers who needs to be embarrassed.

Celtics bench played well. Boston did what they were supposed to do and win at home. Bibby shat another brick in Boston. For some reason he trys to be a scorer in Boston when in Atlanta, he is content on running the offense. Also, Joe Johnson and others bringing the ball up to take pressure off Bibby worked great in the last two games. Then they just went away from it and Rondo made Bibby look stupid again.

Chris Paul is so humble it's fucking awesome... if there's one guy I want to see Stern try to push like he did with Jordan, it's him. He's not ugly like Lebron, doesn't get hurt like Wade, and he speaks like a Southern Gentleman... his only problems are where he plays and the accent.

Kyle Lowry, MEM---------------------- 0 0 1 = 1

Andrei Kirilenko, UTAH--------------- 0 0 1 = 1

The Lowry is a little out of left field, to say the least.

Danny Granger, IND-------------------- 0 0 2 = 2

J.R. Smith, DEN-------------------------- 0 0 1 = 1

Roger Mason, WAS---------------------- 0 0 1 = 1

Mason probably deserved a little more love here. I had never heard of the guy before this season. Not, like, winning the award, but more than one point.

Coach of the Year

Byron Scott, NO------------------------ 70 34 6 = 458

Doc Rivers, BOS---------------------- 23 36 19 = 242

Mike D'Antoni, PHO------------------------- 0 0 1 = 1

Boy, Nate McMillan's support sure fell after that win streak, didn't it.

I think the Lakers could finish 1-81, and Phil Jackson would still get COTY votes. Not that he didn't do a good job, just saying.

Full 12 man roster? That'd be very interesting indeed. I'd go for it.

It's up to everyone. I'm good with a 12 man roster. So far we have 7 people.

We should allow ABA players as well. I'm picking George Karl and Larry Brown!

As long as you believe other people will give them their due, go right ahead. Remember, you don't wanna be picking someone no one knows.

naiwf, you're in. I'll stop count at 16 (that would be pretty good).
