jimmy no nose Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Wasn't NBC supposed to be doing an American version of Top Gear this year? I definitely heard a lot about the idea and I think I remember hearing they signed Adam Carolla and filmed an episode. Guess they gave up at some point.
King Kamala Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 I know, mole! You would think a three camera sitcom with Jay Mohr and Paula Marshall would rock the world, but it just doesn't look that way I read that as Jay Mohr and Penny Marshall at first. If that was a sitcom and it got a slot on the fall schedule, I think I'd quit watching television forever.

King Kamala Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Not sure if it was announced earlier but color me surprised that King of The Hill got another season. It seems like it's been on the ropes for almost its entire run. It may be the least heralded show that's lasted a decade.
Craig Th Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 BONES ON FRIDAY in the Spring? That is horrible and I hope they change that.
milliondollarchamp Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 The only new show i am looking forward to is Fringe J.J. Abrams and Joshua Jackson I'm in. I like that House is its lead in and i am expecting it to do well but since its fox I hope they give it a chance before they cancel it. Here's a fun thought, since Fox is remaking the X-Files (Fringe) Harsh Realm (Virtuality) all we need now is a remake of Millennium to come out and it will be like 1996 all over again.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I take it Cleveland and Loretta have to get a divorce on Family Guy? and Prison Break moving to 9pm sucks but I'll deal with it.
muzz Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 The trailer for the Americanized Life on Mars I'm a huge fan of the original and true version. I could rant endlessly about how horribly atrocious, lame, sickening, and disgusting this plagiarized remake is going to be. But I'm too nice for that. The voiceover kills that, which looks bland compared to the original anyway. I don't think it works for Tyler to be bigger than Hunt either.
milliondollarchamp Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Fringe - Sneak Peek Video FOX begin a huge marketing campaign for 'Fringe' The Hand has six fingers.
Ted the Poster Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 BONES ON FRIDAY in the Spring? That is horrible and I hope they change that. I woudln't worry. By now dedicated viewers like you and I are used to Fox's awful scheduling. Edit: Hell's Kitchen on Thursdays? Shit! Just one more thing to torrent, I suppose.

I thought they'd been planning on putting Bones on Friday for a while.
Matt Young Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I take it Cleveland and Loretta have to get a divorce on Family Guy? and Prison Break moving to 9pm sucks but I'll deal with it. They already divorced back in season 4. Loretta has been off the show for years.
JJMc Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 The Mole apparantly is returning June 2 on ABC. Any fans still out there? I loved the two "regular" seasons but didn't care for the celebrity ones. A really cool concept for a show which I think got lost in all the other horseshit reality shows at that time.

They already divorced back in season 4. Loretta has been off the show for years. I forgot that was the end of the Cleveland/Loretta Quagmire Episode..so yeah. Also, the biggest news Ive seen is that Fox is cutting its commercials down for its 2 new high profile shows (Fringe and Dollhouse) to about 5 minutes of national commercials which would boost the actual show length from 42 minutes (out of 60) to about 47 or so. Also the other good news I saw was that 24 has its whole season storyline arc written out which in previous seasons they never had time to do in advance. I didnt see anything on the prequel to Day 7 but Id bet money it airs late in November for sweeps even though 24 doesnt start back up til the middle of January. That and they can probably turn it around as a DVD release in December to sub in for the usual season release that we dont get this year (Im still trying to figure out why they didnt wait on the Day 1: SE release and put it out in December instead of this tuesday but Im not going to argue since I'll get it for my birthday this way)
