In hindsight, I think Kane would have dropped to you.

I have Kobashi/Misawa plus Kane gives me a monster heel dynamic which I hadn't planned for, but thinking on it, is really awesome to have.

I wanted a star heavy tag division. It's not like we need 20 main eventers.

Don't get me wrong, they're still awesome performers no matter what they're doing.

I'm just gonna take my Brooklyn Zoo-shaped doll and stab it a few times for stealing Dangerous K. I type that with much love, of course.

While I have really good personalities and charismatic figures from Piper to Taz, I still need top notch wrestlers. That will still be an integral factor for this promotion. In the previous rounds, I selected Bryan Danielson as the anchor of the Junior Division. With this next selection, I feel that I can let Danielson be the tremendous dick heel that he is because I have a great face counterpart in my hands. This guy really deviates from the rest of my field since he isn’t regarded for his charisma, personality or his flair. So, why am I taking this guy if he lacks almost everything that I have been adamantly in favor of? Simple, he can flat out wrestle as good as any one else can. That’s a huge factor. There have been numerous flashier, flamboyant and aerial performers but very, very few were as polished as this guy.

With the 127th selection, I have added to this prestigious group,

Congratulations.

This man is the fifth man of my six designated main eventers.

A former NWA World Heavyweight Champion, I believe he held it for over four years.

The man they said invented the Texas Cloverleaf, Hall of Famer, Dory Funk Jr.

I was just telling bps on AIM a couple hours ago about how I was surprised that Malenko hadn't been drafted yet. I was wondering when a former PWI 500 winner would be given some respect and from whom? Good choice there, Hawk.

And great choice by TheFranchise too. I was hoping Dory would slip under the radar for another round or two so I could snatch him.

I was going to go a different direction with this pick...

But I settled here:

It's kind of a futures bet as I think that if there is another breakout star in the WWE anytime soon...it's going to be MVP.

Besides...he's half man, half amazing... can't argue with that.

Way too many modern acts are getting picked over some major historical names. I get that it's mostly because of the lack of knowledge of those performers and that in order to build a promotion, you need to have some understanding of their skills and personalities. However, it's still surprising to see people grab these guys. Not that MVP is a bad pick, but just in relation to the ALL-TIME value of pro wrestling, it's not quite even.

We are in the early stages we still have 20 some odd rounds, also conversely with the way things are going, if you want one of these modern guys you gotsta grab whilest the grabbin's good.

I'll 2nd that, pretty much as soon as you think of somebody that will be a good pick, you might as well pick them ASAP or they will be gone by your next pick.

I'd love being at the tail end of a round just to get a quick turn around, being in the middle bothways messes up some of the planning I've had. Fortunately, I learned from the NBA roster to get a vague idea of what you want for a role and find someone that can work in that role as opposed to a specific person you want at least once you get past the first few rounds.

Like now.

For my next pick, I'm going with another legendary name. This man is probably the definitive Hall of Fame wrestler. He's one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, maybe even the greatest. He's set all kinds of records and is held in high regard by every wrestling historian. My next pick is going be put against Rikidozan, in a repeat of a match that set viewing records that no other match, not even Hogan vs. Andre on NBC, came close to approaching. My next pick is...

For me it has more to do with the style of wrestling that I like, which is by FAR more fast paced and modern.

Same here. Everyone is trying to put together a roster that is complimentary of the talent on it.

This guy is either overrated or underrated depending on which promotion he was working for and whether he was involved in the booking, but I think he can work with pretty much anybody in my upper midcard and I don't think he'll be here by the next time I pick. My selection is Jeff Jarrett circa the last days of WCW and the early days of TNA.

He was also in the conversation in my warroom for the last pick. There was one guy at the table that was al gung-ho about a Valentine/JJ match that actually would probably be quite good.

It was his time to go, I knew when I didn't pick him that he'd be up real soon.

Eh, when I can find a suitable picture I'll try to throw it up but my next pick I'm deciding to round out my tag division more with a solid Japanese tag team:

Jado and Gedo
