I have been thinking about him for a while, and was hoping that, if I didn't get him, that Zoo would reunite him with new Jack and the Hulk Fists.

For my next pick, I choose:

_MG_2882.jpg

Robert Roode

He's really dislikeable and I don't have anyone on my roster with a gimmick quite like his. One thing though, if he's on my roster he can say goodbye to that long hair of his.

It'll be buzz cuts all around, even for the women. If there's one thing I want on my roster it's rigid sense of discipline that can only be instilled via short hair.

In all seriousness, I just hate Roode's hair and think it would also benefit his gimmick to look a little more business like.

With my next pick I select...

Wendy Richter.

As might as well have a good Women's Division. Personally, I think she is one of the best female wrestlers of all-time.

Sonjay Dutt

The final member of Hassan's stable of guys who feel mistreated by America and the Western world, Dutt adds some workrate to a stable that will need it. He will be part of a big 8 man tag pitting many of Hassan's men against Sgt. Slaughter and his team. Dutt is a great bumper, has a lot of flashy moves and is equally effective as a heel or a face although he will be a heel in my company.

Les Thornton

One of Britain's most famous wrestling exports in the 70's, Thornton was a phenomenal worker and a great shooter. Him and Finlay will feud and will put tough, shoot-like matches that will be different than anything else on my card. I'm very excited for a Finlay/Thornton feud and am happy I was able to grab him.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Managers will be available for selection beginning with the 30th round. I have decided that, instead of separating the managerial portion into a separate stage, that I would just merge the two at the latter quarter of the draft. The single stage is now at an even 40 selections.

We will also be choosing locations during the 30th round, though it will not count as an actual selection (just name your city and venue when you are selecting your manager/wrestler). Your city selection serves not only as where your "home office" will be, but is also host to your exhibition card (and of course the venue must match the city). Much like the wrestling talent, the venues are all-time (within reason, so, no, the Roman Coliseum is not on the board), meaning that buildings that are no longer standing are not exempt.

Any questions or comments are welcome.

Garth is up now.

Make-up selections:

Fratsauce - 2 picks

Drury37 - 1 pick

So we can pick a manager and a venue in the same pick?

Yes. Just name your city and venue when you make your 30th talent selection.

So to clarify...

Pick 30: Last Wrestler pick AND your city/arena

Picks 31-10: Non wrestler picks (managers, valets, on air, etc.)

30 through 40 is wrestlers and managers. Some people might not want managers, so I'm just mixing things up. When you make your 30th selection you also need to state your location and venue.

I think you could take one announcer and use one of your wrestlers as a colour guy.

There's definately enough announcers in history, when you factor in people like Ventura and others such as Mooney and Hayes.

Hell, theres tons.

Why do you think I coveted Ultramantis and Larry Sweeney so much...

I actually like this idea better, as it A) Allows to pick the 30 wrestlers/Tag Teams that was originally stated and B) Starts the 2nd stage of the draft with the original order.

After veering into the late 90s and early 00s, it's time to go old school again with my next pick and I'm going to go for yet another tag team. This team is another excellent fit in my division, they're shitkicking brawlers who will fit in well paired up against The Nasty Boys, Public Enemy and The Mamalukes. I think they could also produce a really entertaining match against Strike Force. Hell, they'd be good against any team in my division. But I plan on using them as grizzled veteran tweeners who just straight up like to kick ass- be it babyface or heel. I plan on using them against The Mamalukes. It'll be Shitkicking Cowboys Vs Wiseguy Mafiaso in a series that is sure to produce some entertaining brawls and vignettes.

These men are former AWA World Champions and individually and with other tag partners, were notable stars of the 70s.

Ladies and gentlemne, with my 27th pick in The All Time Wrestling Roster Draft, I'm proud to select...
