Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 20, 2008 The talent is still there, their play as of late has maybe just been the result of going against two tough defenses. Black and Blue division! And they haven't been clicking because of injuries to the offensive line as well. I think they'll get it together sooner rather than later.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted September 20, 2008 Manning was injured the entire offseason, too. That team is going to get healthy and start clicking at exactly the right time, trust me.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted September 20, 2008 Manning was injured the entire offseason, too. That team is going to get healthy and start clicking at exactly the right time, trust me. The Colts will not get the playoff bye but instead they'll end up as the team no one else wants to face. I like our chances this year especially since everyone seems to forget that basically our entire offensive line is hurt, that's not even mentioning the big guns who are either out (Sanders) or visibly hurt/getting into form (Freeney, Manning). I'm not worried.
AboveAverage484 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Am I the only one who thinks the Packers could keep this game within the stratosphere scoring wise? Their defense is pretty good, better than the Eagles, and they have the advantage of playing at Lambeau (though it's not scrotum-tightening cold there yet) as well as the motivation of beating a team whom many believe is Super Bowl bound. Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Don't forget the undefeated record against the Cowboys there which began with the Ice Bowl. While Mike Sherman wiped his ass with the Lambeau legacy, McCarthy takes that shit seriously so I think we're going to see a hell of a game tomorrow night. I think tomorrow will determine who ACTUALLY looks Super Bowl-bound; remember the biggest knock on the Packers has been quarterback play, can Rodgers step into Favre's shoes and lead them to glory like last year yadda yadda yadda, and so far he's done really well.. but this is his first real test as a starting quarterback. If he can win a big game, which this obviously is, that question will definitely be answered. I'm still worried about Green Bay's defense, though. Especially against the run, and now against the pass since Atari Bigby (SS) isn't playing, but Charles Woodson is, so that's good.
garfieldsnose 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 I think tomorrow will determine who ACTUALLY looks Super Bowl-bound Eagles aren't a slouch. They're just as good to make it to the NFC Title game or SB as Dallas or The Pack. I definitely think they'll prove it, as well.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Some of it is the skepticism about whether McNabb will truly stay healthy for 16 games. If he can stay healthy, then Philly can go pretty far.
BruteSquad_BRODY 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Geez , Terry Bradshaw must've had something veto'd or something.... He's playfully mocking his producer and openly saying things that are being aired weren't his idea

Kinetic 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Good. Joey Galloway and Aqib Talib out for the Bucs. With Elbert Mack being suspended for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Matt Ryan, we're a little thin at CB. I'm sure Chicago will make us pay.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Turnover~! Here comes a field goal, bitches! This game is chippy as hell already, I love it.

Cartman 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Wow...Cassel gets "Sacked" without going down. Defender had him by one arm and the ref's called the play dead as he breaks away and runs into the endzone. Next play, pass tipped and picked off by Miami. jimmy no nose 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 If I didn't know any better I'd say it almost looked like Miami had a legitimate offense there for a minute. They went straight down the field 76 yards on New England's defense.

Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted September 21, 2008 They need to get more pressure on Griese. Guy's easy to rattle, and he's back there getting all the time in the world. Tampa's OL can't be that good.
Kinetic 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 Danieal Manning is a fine kick returner, too. Like Dominic Rhodes, he's from my old stomping grounds of Abilene, Texas.
Kinetic 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2008 The Bucs have spent a lot of early draft picks improving the o-line. With them adding Faine in the offseason, this was supposed to be the year that that unit came together.
