MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2008 too bad I couldn't find a pick of Robin Lopez looking like Sideshow Bob that would fit at the end
Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted October 9, 2008 HA, well look at that shit luck. Martell Webster, my third to last pick, is injured with a broken foot and that might include surgery. Fernandez got injured, and although he's not on my team, I REALLY wanted to pick him and ended up with Scola instead. I might make a big deal for him, whoever it is that his him. You're in luck! http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3633334 Had I known this, I may have considered taking Blatche instead of Perkins. But apparently the rookie, JaVale McGee, is really impressing in camp and could get some of those minutes, as well.

Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted December 11, 2008 Wow a month and a half later and I'm already out of contention. I definitely have a problem with my team at the moment- Too many Trailblazers! I have 4 of them. Problem is, I need to get rid of a couple of them without losing too much in return. I have Steve Blake, LaMarcus Aldridge, Joel Pryzbilla, and Rudy Fernandez, in order of trading preference. I'm also willing to shell out Tracy McGrady and Ronnie Brewer for the right offer. In fact, the only guy I'm really attached to keeping around is Rudy and David Lee, who's been a double-double beast for me this year, even if his numbers are down from a year ago. I can't seem to win the points battle, ever. 0-6 there and 0-6 in the blocks category too. Some of the numbers are turning around in my favor finally, but I need a little more diversity on my team, and I'm willing to sell high for it. Any takers? MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 I feel really stupid for trading Duhon for nothing since I dumped the guy a traded him for, but at that time I had no idea what was going on with NY and I had a glut of Guards. I managed to not completely tank the weeks in which I didnt have Kevin Martin and Josh Smith, but it put me in a really deep hole early.
HarleyQuinn 0 Report post Posted December 12, 2008 Oof... my team on paper should be much better than it is but I have absolutely no consistency at all. One night, I'll get 3-4 guys with 15+ points and the next, I'll be lucky if Duncan can crack 15. Prime Example - Emeka Okafor: 5 points, 8 boards, 3 blocks - Emeka Okafor: 27 points, 17 boards, 3 blocks His stat line yesterday and tonight. I'm getting enigmatic performances from everybody outside of Tim Duncan, my only stable player.

Yeah I'm pretty happy about the way this worked out, personally. Nocioni is not REALLY "nothing", but there's definitely better out there. I would start to feel that way a bit with Josh Howard, but I think having Rudy makes up for it.
Adam 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2008 Very happy with my latest run, surged up to 7th without my only decent centre, Kaman. When he gets back, I'll be fine. Glad I persisted with Stuckey, too.
Cartman 0 Report post Posted December 29, 2008 I need Hawes to go back to what he was in the beginning of the year. I have done alot of adding/dropping trying to find what I liked and what gives me enough flexibility and I think I may have a good squad now. Too many specialists and bench players but oh well. With exception to FT% I should be competitive in every other cat. Dominating Blocks and Rebounds, 2nd in steals, like 5th in points. I'll take it.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted December 30, 2008 Ive managed to find last place! I cant seem to go more than a week with a fully healthy roster which is pretty much why.
MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted February 22, 2009 My team still sucks.. its also keeper/trade time. Im probably keeping Carter/Martin/Crawford (3 Guards!) so Josh Smith (who has been a huge disapointment for me) is up for grabs.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2009 Well injuries have slaughtered my season so it's time to look to the future. Just about everyone on my roster is available for trade except for Devin Harris. I'm looking at Harris and a comination of Horford, Howard and Iverson as keepers but that will greatly depend on where AI lands in the offseason.
alfdogg 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2009 A couple deadlines. I want to know by the end of the fantasy season/playoffs if you're coming back. Meaning the last day of the NBA regular season. After that, you'll have until the end of the NBA Finals to decide on keepers. Should one of your keepers get traded/hurt/etc. following the deadline, then obviously I'd allow you to change/drop said keeper.
