MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 What? No running up the score posts? Who was running up the score? Assume hes talking about the Jets going for 2 up 54-35.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 So much for Buffalo being such a great team, now down 14-6 to the RAMS.
bob_barron Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 That was kind of weird, but given how crazy the game had gone, might as well get up by 21
Matt Young Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 I just saw a picture of Favre on ESPN.com. Why were the Jets wearing Iowa State jerseys?
devo Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Those are Titans throwbacks - they had that name and color scheme for their first few years of existence.
naiwf Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 If Boldin survived that hit without paralysis or a broken neck I'd be stunned. That guy on the Jets needs to be fined if not suspended for a game for taking a 10 or so yard running headstart into a leaping helmet to helmet spear with no intent of trying to go after the ball. Considering the team was up by 21 with less than 30 seconds to go it was just completely unnecessary to try and kill a guy, but I'm sure some people will spin it as showing hustle or not giving up on a play.
Smartly Pretty Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Iowa State wears red, anyway.
Cartman Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 That was kind of weird, but given how crazy the game had gone, might as well get up by 21 Hey i'm all for it, but you know there would be 50 posts crying foul if that was Brady and the Pats.
Richard Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Chargers shitting the bed today. They know the Raider games are supposed to be gimmes right?
NoCalMike Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Redskins tie it up......their O-line is getting overmatched so I like Zorn's playcalling that is getting the ball out of his hands (well on most plays) and into his playmakers hands. Skins D-line is going to have to step up big though and get some type of pressure on Romo or he is going to be able to stand back there and just wait for Owens or Witten to get open.
Matt Young Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Iowa State wears red, anyway. I was thinking of Iowa.
fazzle Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Hey, Jason Peters? Feel free to go back and hold out some more. You're fucking playing like shit. Again.
HarleyQuinn Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 With the way the Jets D was playing, I would have "run it up" too because they allowed 35 points (almost 42 if not for the last second INT in the end zone with 3 seconds left) alone in the 2nd half.
Smartly Pretty Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Iowa State wears red, anyway. I was thinking of Iowa.
HarleyQuinn Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Hey, Jason Peters? Feel free to go back and hold out some more. You're fucking playing like shit. Again. Jason Peters just got injured... I assume that's karma or something in some language.
Zetterberg is God Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 It's not helping that James Hardy apparently can't catch worth a damn. Still plenty of time but they have to get it in gear.
NoCalMike Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Shawn Springs is having a monster 1st half covering Owens. Lets hope those old legs hold up for 2 more quarters.
Cartman Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Looks like Boldin is OK. Rotoworld says he has full use of his extremities, just got knocked the hell out.
Zetterberg is God Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 I'll be stunned if Buffalo wins. Absolutely moronic penalties and no line protection.
NoCalMike Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Redskins had a great first half. Gonna be very hard to keep the Dallas offense under wraps for another entire half though. I'd have liked them to take a 2 score lead into half time but hey, allowing a FG is better then a TD. This is definately NFC East football, folks.
Edwin MacPhisto Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Brutal sequence for Washington there, on the two TDs called back. That guard is going to get his chubby little head chopped off for those fuckups.
RepoMan Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Greer picks off Green, 20-14 Buffalo.
Zetterberg is God Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Nothing better than seeing a home run pass for six. And as usual, I judged the Bills too early. Still lots of time but it's looking good.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 How in the hell did they not call that facemask penalty? Wow!
RepoMan Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Edwards to Evans for around a 50 yard TD and a 2pt converstion, roughing the passer on the PAT for 15 yards on the kick off, 28-14 Buffalo .
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Holy fucking shit. What a facemask. Fuck you refs.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 For those not watching Dallas/Washington and wondering what those last two posts were about, Pac Man was returning a kick and literally had his head turned over 90 degrees to his left by one of the Redskin gunners while in full stride, about five yards from a referee. No call. Good way to break a guy's neck.
CanadianChris Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 What a gag job by the Raiders. 25 points allowed in the 4th quarter.
Richard Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 Chargers shitting the bed today. They know the Raider games are supposed to be gimmes right? Well we shit the bed, but Oakland choked on it...or something. Anyway see ya Lane.
Guest Posted September 28, 2008 Report Posted September 28, 2008 One good special teams play on that Sproles kickoff would've helped out a lot. Kiffin's a goner.
