ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 If this was boxing, he'd win by now. Truth be told, Nog is a human punching bag designed to tire people out. I still blindly hold to my theory that Nog is trying to get Mir on the ground by means of playing opossum.
Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 of all the fucking people to finish Nog
ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Why do people want to stand with Nog? Mir probably could just ground and pound until the ref calls it.
Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 of the title matches that could have came out of Mir/Nog/Randy/Brock...this was the least interesting one
muzz Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 He really paced himself well. Man, he's really overcome with emotion.
Lei Tong Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Well, Nog is done, but Mir just set himself up for about 3 year end awards.
ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 He earned it. Good work Mir. I think age has finally gotten to Nog. Of course, is this was Pride, he'd be allowed to take 30 unanswered headshots and still continue.
Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 If Nog gets knocked out by Mir...ehh, I dunno. I'm just in shock. Maybe he's just taken too many beatings
theone Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Why do people want to stand with Nog? Mir probably could just ground and pound until the ref calls it. because of what just happened
slimm44 Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Oh how I regret not placing bets on the Mir fight, and Rampage
ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 So Mir for the Gold? He has soundly beaten Lesnar already. When will Kongo get his shot? I want to see more ballshots.
Your Paragon of Virtue Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Mir is FOTY now. I don't think there's much of an argument. Thiago Alves and Eddie Alvarez did alot, but heavyweights always carry more cache.

Lesnar was very green when he first fought Mir...he's said himself that his ground game and striking have improved ten fold since his fight with Herring... It certainly won't be such a cut and dry fight like the last one...
Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Kongo's a hard sell as a main event. He lost badly to Heath, and since then just beat up two nobodies
ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Who else is in the heavy weight scene? I'll admit that I have not been following that division as well as I should.

Thiago Alves and Eddie Alvarez did alot, but heavyweights always carry more cache. He's easily Comeback Fighter of the Year, though FOTY isn't so cut and dry. It depends on how much his wins mean given Lesnar & Nog's inexperience and wear & tear, respectively.
Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Who else is in the heavy weight scene? I'll admit that I have not been following that division as well as I should. I'd like to see Hardonk get back on the main cards, dude can KO
Lei Tong Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Who else is in the heavy weight scene? I'll admit that I have not been following that division as well as I should. Santos, Gonzaga, Velasquez & even Herring have more claim to title shots than Kongo at the moment.
Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Plus you can always throw Randy back into the mix

I'd like to see Hardonk get back on the main cards, dude can KO Hardonk was getting beat up by a short-notice-Sanchez and lost to Justin McCully. Dude is waiting to get embarrassed again.
Warriorfan Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 After my picks tonight, I would now like to be referred to as SENSEI Warriorfan!

Guy needs work, but is 4-2 in the UFC with KOs
ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 What are the predictions? Rashad is going to be an undefeated champ?
muzz Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Looks like Evans borrowed Arlovski's mouthguard.

Youth N Asia Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 fun round. Rashad looks so small for 205, but doubt he could make 185
ChikoDemono Posted December 28, 2008 Report Posted December 28, 2008 Is Forrest trying to be the next Cro Cop? He's throwing a lot of high kicks.
