CanadianChris Posted November 28, 2008 Report Posted November 28, 2008 I must have had a small stroke right before I picked the Cardinals. Oh well, 2-0 lead is still pretty good.
Danville_Wrestling Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Rest of my picks: San Francisco at Buffalo (7.5) (7.5) Baltimore at Cincinnati (4.5) Indianapolis at Cleveland Carolina at Green Bay (3.5) Denver at N.Y. Jets (7.5) (8.5) Miami at St. Louis New Orleans at Tampa Bay (3.5) (3.5) N.Y. Giants at Washington Atlanta at San Diego (5.5) Pittsburgh at New England (0.5) Kansas City at Oakland (3.5) Chicago at Minnesota (3.5) Jacksonville at Houston (3.5) Minnesota - 22
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 So this week, I'm in a bit of a must-win considering I'm heads up against the wildcard race for the great "on the bubble" spot. I need to get that game and hope Washington/Dallas/San Fran stumble a bit from here on out, since there's little chance I'll catch up to Danville's Vikings at this point for the division title. You forget Carolina. They have a leg up on your team as well. It'd have been me (Atlanta) but thank god for that win over Carolina this week. Now I feel much more comfortable with where I am headed in the division. I didn't forget Carolina. That was the entire point of my first sentence in that post, since I'm playing them this week.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Oh? Then beat fazzle for me.
Spaceman Spiff Posted November 29, 2008 Report Posted November 29, 2008 Miami - 27 Buffalo (7.5) (7.5) Baltimore (4.5) Indianapolis Green Bay (3.5) N.Y. Jets (7.5) (8.5) Miami New Orleans (3.5) N.Y. Giants Atlanta New England (0.5) Oakland (3.5) Minnesota (3.5) Jacksonville

kkktookmybabyaway Posted November 30, 2008 Author Report Posted November 30, 2008 Deadline has come and gone.
Guest Vitamin X Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Woohoo! So many .5 wins this week. Made a great decision in picking against Green Bay this week too, although I got their point total right on the money.
CanadianGuitarist Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Need the Bears to come through...
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted November 30, 2008 Report Posted November 30, 2008 Barring a collapse by the Falcons, I sweep my old division of the AFC West and go up 9-3 for the year.
CanadianGuitarist Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 God damn - I'm only two back of a wild-card tie if the Bears win!
CanadianChris Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 Still in a tie, but only a two-way tie now. Hopefully I can pull away next week, as I get KC head to head.
starvenger Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 10-2. Damn. Why couldn't I do that when I was Tampa?
CanadianGuitarist Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 And the Rams get the same signature treatment the Raiders got yesterday.

USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 2, 2008 Report Posted December 2, 2008 Whoa hey looks like I'm the PF leader again. The AFC appears to have a logjam of 7-5 teams. Only Pittsburgh has a defined spot (#1). Good luck sorting that mess out. The NFC is a bit more cleaner, as the top 4 seeds are solidly in grasp of certain teams, only San Francisco is less than two games ahead of the second place team so far. 1. Minnesota 2. Philadelphia 3. ATLANTA~! 4. San Francisco 5. Washington (I think) 6. Green Bay (I think)
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 I don't bother looking at playoff seedings until Week 16. I would rather not know of any possible clusterfucks until I have no choice.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Oh a lot can happen in 4 games but I'm just trying to help out anyone who might need an eye on others for their playoff survival. Dunno.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 Oh by all means frolic with the playoff picture. I did that one year and went out of my mind.
CanadianChris Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Playoff picture: Win and you have a better chance of making it.
alfdogg Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Looks like my season's pretty much over. 2 games back of Bored, who also swept me in head-to-head.
