NFL Week 16

Recommended Posts

It would make week 17 against Dallas a playoff game as well. Winner takes all.

Oh, goddamnit. Talk about salt in the wound. I'll take a 3 1/2 hour walk around the block rather than watching Dallas/Philadelphia next Sunday night. I CAN'T TAKE ANOTHER FUCKING DALLAS COWBOYS GAME.

I don't think they can change the game to a night game since both teams have had at least five prime time games this season. That's what I heard on the radio this week.

Dallas/Philly could be the night game next week. The Giants/Vikings can't, but it will most likely be Miami/Jets.

If that's the case, I really don't want Dallas/Philly to be at night since I have to work early the next morning. Miami/NY would be just as good.

That was pretty stupid, but I expect that from most players these days since they're more concerned with individual stats than wins and losses.

I'd love to see Washington win today and then Philly beat Dallas next week leaving open the possibility that all three of those teams would miss the playoffs if Tampa beats Oakland or Chicago wins out.

If the Lions somehow beat the Packers next week (IN LAMBO NO LESS) I'll cry. They really deserve the 0-16 season.

What really pisses me off though is that at the beginning of the season, placing odds on the Lions going 0-16 were 1,000 to 1...had I known that I'd have dropped at least a $20 on that

Be careful for what you wish for!

What's there to be careful about? I despise the other teams in the NFC East and would like to see them all suffer. If the Giants choke their way down to a three seed and then lose to Tampa or Chicago then they deserve to be ridiculed. The teams in our division could easily beat us in the playoffs which is why I'd like to see them all miss out on the party.

Redskins offense finally shows some life, but then remembers that even when they were decent, they sucked in the red zone.

Regardless of the outcome of this game, I don't see how THIS Eagles team beats Dallas next week, unless the Redskins just have the Eagles number so far this season. Redskins offense has been horrible the last month and they seem to be moving the ball decently against a good Philly defense. Of course, they only have 3 points to show for it.

Then again, we are talking about Romo, T.O. and the rest of the sideshow coming off being demoralized at home, against a tough division foe, on the road, in bad weather, with a lot on the line, IN DECEMBER. So maybe I take the previous thought back.

Neither do the Eagles. How can you play this poorly against a bad Redskins team when you're almost there? I'm not seeing any heart in anyone on offense not named Brian Westbrook. Make a fucking play, McNabb. It's time to stop crying about the Philly media and fans and do what you've been doing your whole career.

...isn't that what he's been doing his whole career, though?

23-7 Atlanta. This will keep the Bears alive for tomorrow, but it would be just like them to get the help they need and blow the game themselves.

Well, if we're bringing up teams that don't want to make it to the playoffs, it'd be unfortunate if we didn't mention the Jets.

Yes, but he's also led this team to a lot of wins since 2000. I respect the hell out of him.
