Dandy Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 We've had a few shows from Food Network come here to Huntington. They announce that a local eatery will be on a Food Network show and I get excited. Most of the time, I find out it's Guy Fieri (sp?), and I don't even watch the episode.
Gary Floyd Posted December 18, 2008 Author Report Posted December 18, 2008 He's replaced Frank Caliendo as the TV personality I most want to see suffer an excruciating death.
Youth N Asia Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I'd be ok with him losing a limb in a car crash
Black Lushus Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 is that the dork in the TGIFridays commercials?
Jaxxson Mayhem Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 is that the dork in the TGIFridays commercials? Yup. I hated him with a passion for a long time but I was forced to watch a couple episodes of his show and I don't hate him so much anymore.
Black Lushus Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I like the one where the viewer is busy looking at a table full of chicks waving back while he's worried about feeding his fat face at a great price.
Psycho Penguin Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I like Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives.
The Niggardly King Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 is this the douche telling people what to order and how to talk to women in the Chilli's commercials?
DrVenkman PhD Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 All the previous questions and answers above would lead me to believe the answer is yes.
Nighthawk Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 It's actually TGI Fridays. Much, much worse.
DrVenkman PhD Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 It's all the same, one just offers more jalapeño.
The Niggardly King Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 oh, TGIFridays... I always make fun of this guy whenever I grab the Jack Daniels Burger there.
Cheech Tremendous Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 Douchey or not, I like Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.
Guest Vitamin X Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 The guy may not be an actual chef, but he did (and still does) own several successful restaurants in California and has a degree in Hospitality Management.. And if you've seen the guy cook, he does seem to know his food at least on a fairly basic level, at least much more so than fucking Rachel Ray and Sandra Lee, both of whom know jackshit about cooking other than making crap from processed food at the grocery store, and just qualify as tv "personalities"... At least Guy Fieri isn't like that, like I believed for a short time.
haws bah gawd Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 Rachel Ray is at least easy on the eyes from time to time, which makes her more tolerable. This guy is beyond the point of annoying, though.
