The TSM Weight Loss Contest

Recommended Posts

I was 191 last night. That's a four pound gain from last week, but that was artificially low due to a stomach virus that sapped me of all my fluids. Overall, a total of four pounds lost in four weeks is about where I want to be.

I'll update the excel chart and get it posted this evening.

I was thinking we'd go one more month. That would be 8 weeks total. Does that sound reasonable to everyone?

I think 3 months would be best

Week 4 updates

post-5151-1233887901_thumb.jpg

Congrats to Still Fly who has pulled way ahead in both total pounds and loss %. That's quite the impressive weight loss for four weeks.

KOAB gets this week's award for most erratic weight. He's had a 24-pound swing from peak to trough. That's insane.

Overall, it appears that the Super Bowl was a rough go for this week. Also, if I don't get updates from Kinetic, Pbone or Cyber Mark by next week, I'm dropping them.

It's dad's birthday and he brought home two big buckets of fried chicken, and a large double fudge cake...

"Have fun with that rabbit food, Nature Boy!"

This is tempting... but I shall overcome.

194

Less cheese and biking to work again has helped with the weight lost. Also cutting down on the amount of food at feeding time (makes it sound like a zoo) has helped too. The rowing machines at the gym are a total bitch, but seem to be doing something - at the least giving me piles.

260 here. I'm down to an XL shirt for the first time in a year and a half, and my 36 jeans are getting loose (yes I wear them around the navel).

Weird. I'm 230, and I wear an XXL shirt and 38 in pants. Of course, I do like the waist to be loose in my pants.

It's just different ways people carry their weight I suppose. I've also been doing a good bit of weight training on the Bowflex. A friend of mine has been doing Atkins (I didn't know people still did that?) since just before Christmas and is down to 219. He called me the other day and was all excited about being in 40-waist jeans for the first time since before he got married, and fitting back into his XL shirts again.
