I have very vague memories of the first Underworld, since it turned out to be one of those movies that you and your girlfriend say you're just gonna quietly sit down in the bedroom and watch together, but then it turns out that there isn't much sitting down or quiet involved at all. However, I did try to watch the sequel alone and sober, and turned it off about ten minutes in, was just fucking terrible.

Fell asleep 2 times trying to watch the first Underworld, and that was enough for me. It's one of those series that looks like it could really be cool, but the movies are so goddamn boring that its not worth sitting through.

I actually really liked the first two Underworlds, but just got out of this new prequal, and wow, absolutely dull and boring as it gets. The vibe of the whole film is horrible (probably since its more of a medieval theme they were going for) and it begs the question why they even felt this was worth even doing when alot of the films premise was shit that was already revealed in the first two films in the first place. Speaking of falling asleep, I dozed off for about 15 minutes during this one....that can tell you how shitty it was. Felt like one of those thrown together straight to DVD followups to what was, before, a pretty solid franchise being developed.
