Consider this thread closed since there's already *another* Michaels debate going on. Good show everyone, thanks.

Could the Chiefs be a realistic pick for making it to the SB? Who has the better defense: KC or Indy?
-
San Diego vs. Dallas is the game of the week. Period. 28 - 24. Goddamn...and they're my match-up for the SB too. That was a hard, hard, hard fought game. Dallas coming into SD and winning is huge for tha 'boys.

A bingo hall?

Which, I've found inexplicable. The only part I could see people hating is the ending scene with the explosions and the parking lot. Other than that, everything else about the movie is aces.

It's one of the top 5 best films Marvel has released. Seriously.

The Raiders 2ndary did not look sharp out on the field. The Pats WR's had miles of room to get open sometimes. Ted Washington, Warren Sapp and Derrick Burgess all impressed me with how they played. Washington was *gassed* by the 2nd half and drawing double and triple teams to keep him busy. Sapp played with some hustle in his game, which was nice to see. Derrick Burgess has given me hope at the DE position. I'm glad the Raiders picked him up from the Eagles. Jerry Porter missing all of the preseason games with a sore hammy did not help out in the game. John Madden brought up how the lack of preseason games can leave someone rusty going into the regular season and Porter "shined" with this theory last night. Courtney Anderson was the real star on the Raiders after picking up two TD's from Collins. I just hope he can stay healthy this season. The TE position might have just found a bonafide starter with Anderson. I'll be keeping a close eye on him and how he does this season. I hate to say this but Robert Gallery has not impressed me at either tackle position. I'm all for grooming him to play Left tackle, as was intended, but I just hope the training and waiting pays off for him and the team.

Marvel needs to unload individual movies (Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, etc.) before trying to put out an Avengers movie. They have so much material at their disposal. I wouldn't mind seeing another Punisher movie with Thomas Jane. That guy's a really good actor and aside from the goofy parking lot explosion sequence at the end, I thought that was one of the best Marvel films the company has put out. The Punisher is a really underrated movie, which stays about as true as possible to the original source material like no other Marvel film. I'm looking forward to sequels.

This is very true.

Yell out a racial slur and see if anyone in the back bats an eye. Hey, at least you'll get noticed by a lot of people. Do that or else go up to Rey Mysterio Jr. and tell him how you take dumps bigger than him. Just tell him you're kidding. If you see Juvy, you should try and sucker him into making a drug deal with you and then never show up with the kilo of whatever he'll ask for. Let him know where you live though before you make the deal so that way he'll at least know you really live in Oklahoma. He'd probably think you were lying if you say that. No one will believe that shit since they'll just think it's some sort of sick joke anyways. If you do pull it off, tell everyone you're JR's son since that could earn you some free stuff. Let them know though that your mom saw Mrs.Ross before the show and asked her where she could find your father at. Who knows, maybe Vince will even ask you to go workout with him if you flex enough in front of him. But enough of that. Go out there and get'em champ. I know you can do it Dama. Oh yeah, FYI, PIX PLZ THNX

The bit with Tim White and Earl Hebner was one of the best booking moves made in that match. The Stunner was, once anyways, one of the best God killer moves in the WWF since Austin, at that point, had only needed to hit one on someone to win a match. I didn't think that spot cheapened the move in any way unlike the WM matches they'd have later on where the finishing moves no longer looked as impressive as they had before. At least Russo didn't go with the over-kill finishes route that bookers like Heyman and Baba did, which is one of the few compliments I can give Russo as a booker. The Backlash '99 match whomps the shit out of the future WM matches between the two. They had a grudge match on the RAW before WM 14, which I thought was entertaining at least. The match was a total clusterfuck at the end though.

I'd agree with that, but if he can squeeze out some sort of "friends with benefits" arrangement, well, I'd go for it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Touche. I thought the big ol' titty blonde Matt was hanging around with, post Lita, was a fine piece in her own right. Then again, if Hardy could pull off a threesome with both of the girls then my hat's off to him since he'd get to bang two for the price of one. Maybe, just maybe, he could also fuck with Lita's head a bit in the orgy too...by possibly bringing back up old feelings in her while she watches Matt plowing his *neeeeeewww* piece of ass. That'd be a nice mindfuck to hand out to your ex-skank I'd say. Then again, I doubt Lita would be down for a threesome though since she's all virtuous and stuff...

That's one of the reasons why I found it hard to watch X-9. Austin was Muhammed Ali and the Rock was Larry Holmes. In both matches, it was tough watching the broken down star in his final match against the younger guy who never got a fair chance to shine in the spotlight. Seriously, X-9, for me, is just a terribly depressing match to watch that I could do without ever watching again. Seeing Austin getting beatdown in that match was hard to watch.
-
Go back and watch it. There's less goofy crap at the end compared to the other matches.

We're all just living in Vince's world. At least someone displayed a sign of brains in a WWE booking meeting in front of Vince. Too bad it didn't do any good.

I actually liked WM 15 the best. The ending didn't leave a bitter taste in my mouth like their future matches would. I didn't care for Austin winning X-7 the way he did and I thought the Rock's X-9 win was anti-climatic to say the least. The ending to the last two matches really just made me sad. They were just totally unsatisfying. The one thing that I thought was really cool about the WM 15 match, which made it unique to me, was when the Rock kicked out of the stunner after being in the match for only a couple minutes. It was the first time since Bret Hart, that someone, kicked out of the Stunner. But, the way it happened, which was early in the match, didn't cheapen the finisher to me like future Heyman style booked matches between the two would go. The Rock was still fresh and didn't go down to the Stunner when Austin hit it clean in the early minutes of the match. The Rock did everything he could from that point on to win the match but also avoid eating another Stunner like he did earlier. That was a nice touch. So yeah, I voted for the Wrestlemania 15 match. The work in X-7 is really, really good though. The 19 match is a depressing train wreck to watch.

Goddamnit. Collins didn't look good at all. This could be another looooooonnnggg season with him at the QB spot. The back-ups are too inexperienced to be called upon right now. The (young) O-line also fell apart one too many times in this game. At least LaMont Jordan and Zack Crockett looked good when they had some holes to run through. Randy Moss was covered by one of the NFL's best secondary and the triple team coverage worked for them. Moss throwing that guy down by the jersey in the endzone, I think, spoke for how the rest of the Raiders team were probably feeling. Randy did look good in the 1st quarter but, after that, Rodney Harrison and crew just stuck to Moss like fly paper. That was a tough game to lose but the Patriots are still the defending champs and they showed it off tonight why they are. The Raiders could have their hands full in KC in the next game.

I have no clue how the Raiders will do this season and this is coming from a big time fan. Their schedule isn't for the weak. I see them going anywhere from 6-10 to 12-4 this season. I'm hoping for like a '98 Vikings or '99 Rams season but I'm not going to hold my breath. QB Kegger Collins, RB LaMont Jordan, TE Courtney Anderson, WR's Randy Moss, Jerry Porter, Ronald Curry, Doug Gabriel and the offensive line need to ball it up this season big time. The defense is (finally...) young but the old guys like Warren Sapp, Ted Washington and Bobby Hamilton need to kick some ass this season and show fans, like me, they're still worth paying some more.

Super strength and the ability to morph his arms into anything he chooses. He can also change his size naturally.

Does anyone else here think that Cleveland might be crazy enough to make a play at (the now asking to be traded and without heart disease insuranceless) Eddy Curry? Don't him and LeBron James have the same agent reps? He'd be a hit with Kareem's Young Bust Center's workout camp.

Not Styles. Daniels and Liger looks like more of a possibility than Liger/Styles since Daniels and Liger both wrestle for New Japan while Styles does shows for "rival" Zero-1MAX.

Having Mike Tice as a head coach hasn't been exactly great for Culpepper. Jim Mora Jr. was a great choice to make as head coach by Falcons owner Arthur Blanks. His dad was a good coach and the younger Mora's been working in the NFL for nearly 20 years and is just a spry 41 years old. The dude got to surf with Dan Fouts in the off-season too. I'm jealous, really. He's got some character and personality to him, which, in his case, looks to be an endearing personality to players and staff. Luckily, he hasn't shown to have his dad's temper...yet. Jeff Fisher, Tony Dungy, Mora Jr. and John Fox are some of the cooler player's coaches in the league today. I'd say they've all done well for themselves over the past several years. Fisher went to the SB and nearly won it with a really tough Titans team. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won an SB the season after Dungy was dumped as HC but he was the one who helped turn that team into a contender after years of lousy seasons. Mora Jr. went to his new team's conference game his first year as head coach. John Fox is just a title game away from going back to the SB and, possibly, winning it, finally. These guys, sans Jeff Fisher, all have really, really, really good teams assembled around them right now. Most of these guys look prepared to win an SB this season.

Touche Rant, touche. Culpepper's a freakin hoss. A lot of defense guys, top guys even, have stated how difficult it is to take down Dante since he's built like a DE (6'6", 270ish) and can bulldoze guys over if he wishes. The Vikings should let Dante run the ball in more often when it's like 2nd and goal or something. Just get that FAT FUCK offensive line of his to push on forward and let Culpepper run the damn ball into the endzone.

In WWC, matches there are still worked like out of the 1970's. Blood and plunder are used to cover up weaknesses and added to grab fans attention. The full nelson is a finishing move down in Puerto Rico. It's the equivalent to a powerbomb here in the States. It can either finish a match or send someone out on a stretcher. The Colon family, sans the daughter, blow as workers. At least Carlos' daughter is good looking.
