  1. Ya know, I was watching the draft the other night on tape and realized how much they did right on that night...but how much they fucked it up at the same time. HHH on Smackdown would of given us new life in 2004, but nope. Weird watching the Angle/Booker segment on Smackdown that Thursday and realizing how true Booker's comments were about Smackdown...cause they were the truth in reality. Worst business decision: XFL. Worst wrestling angle blown: InVasion.
  2. "Kurt Angle, Shane McMahon, Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler and Shawn Michaels were all in Japan earlier today to promote the 2/4 and 2/5 TV tapings at the Saitama Super Arena (which is Pride's home base). They did a Michaels vs. Angle face-off., but not sure if that will lead anywhere. Tickets go on sale tomorrow." Dave Meltzer with the report...let's hope this goes somewhere other than a photo-op.
  3. ...oh fuck.
  4. I don't see the big deal either. Mientkiewicz might as well keep it. Don't be surprised to hear about how Doug Mientkiewicz mysteriously dissapears one day.
  5. God. I've tried reading this thread but I've got a headache. I think it's safe to say all titles have no more lineage in the company and it's going to take years to fix it.
  6. Evolution 3 way isn't that bad of an idea. But I would still want Edge champ and defending against either HBK or Benoit. *Throws up at the idea of HHH champ and a 3 way for the main event at Mania...again*' More than likely, HBK will cause the HHH loss @ NYR, and it will be HHH/HBK @ Mania in a retirement match.
  7. I think they are going with HHH/Batista at Mania...and Edge (champion) vs. HBK or Benoit for the title at Mania.
  8. Where'd you get that? OK. I don't think the plane was evidence at all to the bank robbery. I wouldn't be surprised whatever she was going after in the envelope was that of her father's that she was told about before she killed him (assuming she did). I believe that she didn't know what was in the depoist box, but she thought it was something worth robbing a bank for. I think she would of been satisfied with jewels or whatever, but I think that once she got the little model airplane, that's when the guilt trip came about and she took off to find a new life. And to be honest...Lilly acted very surprised to see this plane, so maybe she never opened the envelope until now. My true theory on her Dad: We did see Kate in action with the guns and it's safe to say she's pretty good. I think that she's an Army brat turned special forces because of her father...and she was responsible for her father's final mission before retirement. She was the leader, something went bad, and her father was killed in action and she's had this gulit trip. Somehow, she turned into a life of crime looking for this depoist box. And she has been hiding because she's not just a bank robber, but she's wanted for murder during her time with the Armed Forces. "She's Dangerous.." Indeed. I think a third episode before the season is over would be very nice because there's a still a crap load of questions, and just theories right now...I just hope the third episode resolves the Kate character going into the second season. -Who was the man she loved and killed? (More than likely her father)? -What was the model airplane of? (The same plane her father flew in the armed forces)? -Did Kate know Sawyer and the U.S. Marshall waaay before the plane crash (I think we can make the connection with Kate/Sawyer and the killing of parents...but I still believe that the Marshall might have been romantically linked with Kate, but not the "Man she loved." I think that's all the questions really about Kate that I can think of. I thought it was a good episode, but again...it seems like all these episodes they answer one question, and ask about five more. It comes to the point where I wonder if they throw in so much that they are actually going to have the time and effort to go back and answer them.
  9. Ok. Kate killed her dad. The Army pilot.
  10. I don't get it. First thing I thought is "She crashed the plane."
  11. I thought Maven did a good job on commentary as well. They should of stuck him out their with Coach when JR and King were gone. Orton/HHH is definately not going to be apart of this year's Wrestlemania. I think the logical choice right now is to go with HHH/Batista...and Edge will win the World Title.
  12. I thought Orton/HHH really picked up at the end...I thought their false finish tribute to HBK/HHH from Summerslam 2002 (@ the Nassau Coliseum) was pretty cool. Elimination Chamber is easily the only reason why I want to see the PPV this Sunday, but it was an OK Raw...as usual, nothing that we'll remember in about a week.
  13. It's pretty sad when the entire roster doesn't know what the next PPV is called. Resolution/Revolution...not that it matters, but still.
  14. I thought Kane coming back was cool, but why did they spend the entire spring, summer, and fall of 2004 doing one of the worst angles of all time and mainly standing home the fact that Kane and Lita can't stand each other...and now Lita is HAPPY about Kane? WHAAAT? Ain't it weird seeing Nash and Goldberg on WWE TV again? I've really liked the buildup for this year's Elimination Chamber by showing the buildup from the first two. And what's with Coach playing face tonight on the commentary?
  15. I honestly don't understand why they don't do more with JR...like general manager or something. He's always been one of the most over personalities in the WWE that's non-wrestling. Remember when he walked down after Vince was about to announce the new general manager on Raw about 2 years ago? Place went crazy. That segment really needed Foley or Rock or something. But it cut him over pretty well as a heel, so mission accomplished.
  16. Sylvain Grenier is a fucking idiot. WWE is reusing video packages!
  17. Then DDP lost to Sara Undertaker the next night on Raw, took off for a month to get dental work, came back with his stupid gimmick, hurt his neck vs. Bob Holly which supposely "ended his career", and now I guess he's back in TNA trying to live a 1998 feud with Raven. Again...WWE killed that guy's career. No reason either.
  18. I think that the previews have definately foreshadowed a Sawyer/Kate realtionship as they got swimming together...and Jack is becoming much like Sawyer in his character. And Sawyer is turning babyface. Which is what we all wanted anyways. This show still brings the awesome...I frigging can't wait to find out what Kate really did and what Boone/Looke saw. And about 500 more questions that I don't have time to mention.
  19. I could care less about Team Terrorist vs. USA BAH GAWD~!*%^, but it will be interesting to see how they build up the Elimination Chamber because that's easily the only thing that's making me attracted to buying the PPV next Sunday. Anyone else enjoy watching CSI? I remember I used to watch it back in late 2002 after Raw and got hooked...I should probably started watching it on CSI cause I only watch the ones on SpikeTV and the late night CSI Weekends on like at 12:30 in the morning on Saturday and Sunday. Alright, I'll shut up.
  20. Well, since Viscera vs. Benoit already happened... Bret/Angle Austin/Hogan HBK/Rock HBK/Angle HBK/Lesnar Lesnar/Austin Lesnar/HHH Bret/Vince (like I need to explain) Rock/Rey...oh come on, you'd all love it. Bret Hart vs. Brock Lesnar would of made the Kevin Nash series of matches with Bret look like shit.
