  1. Well, I paid 21.99 for the DVD @ FYE and got a WWF Trucker hat with it, but no ECW beanie because they ran out . I wish they had used the ECW theme by Harry Slash to open up the DVD instead of the random production they used. "I pretty much told them to go fuck themselves when they treated people like shit." Holy shit that was funny. ON WWE PROGRAMMING. Loved the chapter on Shane Douglas/NWA title incident. *Bischoff gives a long, good sounding answer.* Heyman: Eric Bischoff is full of shit. (THAT WAS FUCKING GREAT) Paul Heyman's impression of Austin was classic. Watching the Austin chapter really made me see how his Stone Cold gimmick was just ready to come out and it only took the WWF's production to do it. I had never seen the Mind Games footage...pretty cool. I had never seen the Crucifiction angle or Kurt Angle in the ECW arena. Fucking insane. The Barely Legal chapter was really strong work. Couldn't believe the Dudleys stuff...never seen how bad they actually were. Loved the Awesome/Tazz, as well as Triple H/Tazz footage. Thought the ending of it was awesome. Extras: Thought the Stevie Richards and Tazz segments were pretty intense. Jericho's stories were great. Fucking AMAZING DVD. I was so drained after the 3 hour program, but it brought back a few memories...and a lot of stuff that I had never seen before. Definately worth having for your collection.
  2. Are the players already edited or are they PG, SG, etc. I know they weren't in College Football games because of the NCAA stuff. I'll more than likely pick it up tommorow. I'm not exactly hot about dropping 50 bucks for March Madness.
  3. Just curious before I put down 20 bucks to buy it...how is it?
  4. Owen Driver '97 is just amazing when you watch it. Not in a good way, but just the effect it had on the wrestling business, as well as just the way it flowed with the match. You just watch it and say "...fuuuck." I don't watch much TNA, but the Canadian Destroyer looks insane. The German Suplex are pretty dangerous for the long-term effect as opposed to the immediate effect. Necks, anyone?
  5. Why? you wouldn't actually wear them....right? Sure I would. Why not?
  6. I just watched the Raw opener...great stuff indeed.
  7. I must buy this DVD. I hope I get some incentives with it like free skull caps and hats or whatever they might still be giving away with it. I hope.
  8. Honestly, not really. He hasn't been put into a great position to have big matches...tag teaming with Booker T, and he's done nothing since going to Smackdown. They could of put the match with Triple H on that too from Unforgiven but it's pretty obvious why they didn't.
  9. Looks intresting. I would of put more of his 2001 work with the WWF (Jericho/RVD Hardcore match), but take what we can get.
  10. Shit like this pisses me off. HEY IDIOTS IN THE WWE...THIS WRITES ITSELF. Instant superstar could of been made before his hometown. INSTANTLY. And he's actually talented!
  11. I read somewhere the original plan was Nash to feud with Triple H in 2002 before Michaels came back. Original main event for Wrestlemania 14 was Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart for the WWF title, but we all know what happened. Original main event for Wrestlemania 18 was Steve Austin vs. Triple H (heel vs. face) for the WWF title. There was some plan relating to Hogan/Lesnar/Taker at Survivor Series 2002 that I seem to forget, but it had something to do with someone "destroying" someone else and then they would come back? I honestly read this but don't remember who was involved and what was going to happen.
  12. Well, I just saw the video package on ESPN, pretty weak stuff...figured it would be tame though I thought they would be a tad more creative with it.
  13. This was key. Everyone was talking about that if anything was going to come out of the disaster of the Alliance angle, we would at least see Triple H vs. Austin (face vs. heel) at Wrestlemania 18. And it would of been the match. To think if we had that, as well as Hogan/Rock. But we know how that went.
  14. I thought at first that Triple H was going to have to wrestle them all in a 2 hour gaunlet match. And beat them all.
  15. Waterproof Blonde - Just Open Your Eyes. It's on Volume 6. They did Sean O'Haire's theme in 2003.
  16. Well, I might as well start it. I missed the opening of the show but I read about the MNF spoof. Hopefully some video gets put online. Val Venis went bald? Huh? Benoit/Edge got basically no heat because of the cheap ass bait and switch of promoting Benoit/HHH all night and changing it at the last minute. And anyone can see clear as day that Batista didn't attack HHH and that he did it so HHH could get out of his title matches. Marked out for Benoit setting up for the headbutt, thinking that he was going to do it off of the top (though for obvious reasons he wasn't going to do it.) Liked the ending to the match, despite everything else, though. "Tommor..." Slicccck one, Randy. VISCERA VS. TRIPLE H? OMG RATINGS YES! I thought the ending was weak...I was expecting Steamboat to come out and beat the crap out of Evolution, but blah.
  17. Both guys are even. I'm more captivated by Benoit's story than Eddie (though Eddie went through a lot more adversity than Benoit did) just because I've always been a bigger fan of his. I think Benoit's had a bigger impact because he was the main player when they brought him into the company in 2000, and he's had tons of ups and downs when it came to his on-screen character...and he had the picture perfect moment at Wrestlemania. Successful? Both are on the same level. Better story? For me, Benoit. But it could go either way.
  18. Would it be ok if once Raw ended, someone made a Discussion thread about what happened on Raw? I'm sure the page amount will be at lesat be cut in half becuase it wont be people just posting random things throughout the thread.
  19. This is awesome news. Maybe he can send some logic into some certain people in this company. And I'd LOOOOVE to see him as a General Manager or something. He'd be 90485340958 more useful then what they have going now.
  20. Sox outfield Gabe Kabler signed with a Japanese team for next year, so there goes any dream scenario of the 2004 Sox staying together forever.
  21. I was just curious if they did anything again for this week. I missed it cause of class, thanks.
  22. Ever since Angle came back, I think for last years' Rumble, he started looking really ripped and a lot less muscle mass. I think he either stopped juicing, cut down his work program because it hurts too much, or he really is just becoming more lean. His arms look small as hell but maybe he wants to loose weight. Don't ask why..
