  1. I think I enjoy family guy because they will take any subject (violence, racism etc) and make it funny to me, without me feeling sick for laughing at it. Great balance of humour and shock value. Also, the fight sequences are superbly choreographed.
  2. The website is pretty hit n miss now, but 'Our Dumb Century' is one of the funniest books I've ever read, and the attention to detail is superb.
  3. Television- Marquee Moon. I've been listening to this all week, come to think of it.
  4. Morrissey (even though I'm going to glasto) is almost reason enough on his own, but Leeds is the ass of the universe and full of nu metal twats. I dunno why he'd bother.
  5. I think a more apt analysis would be Morriss-fucking-ey and the tinderfuckingsticks. Mozza doing Leeds is a shock though. Maybe if one other feasible band I'm dying to see live does it i'll go to that one this year too. Hopefully Killing Joke.
  6. Because he has a tendency to forget how to drum mid-show? I think being able to drum was in his contract somewhere.
  7. We built this board on fluff and don't you forget it.
  8. THAT WAS GOLDBERG IN FAMILY GUY??? Well then, he no longer sucks.
  9. yeah, the rest of her goes up and down, but they are consistent and I admire them for that.
  10. Tremendous pic of Rummers.
  11. You know, some things you don't miss until they're gone. so what was this thread about again?
  12. I own a Lit album. I intend to shoot it.
  13. My god, new material? It's about time.
  14. Get some early Wire, Pink Flag and Chairs missing both absolutely rule. The newest, last year's Send is brilliant as well, you couldn't call it punk but they stick to all the principles they had back then, creating great soundscapes out of nothing more than simplistic rock. and for that, they absolutely rule. The most overlooked of all punk bands.
  15. Not enough good bands come to my area (England) for me to need to just yet. Maybe if I was the drummer at a show or something. Mind you, I think my hearing has deteriorated in the past couple of years.
  16. We'll see what happens. Brock/Benoit was the only long program I would have been interested in anyway, and the mere thought of Brock/Taker III, just, argh. It is a shame he never realised his potential.
  17. Morrissey - I don't mind if you forget me
  18. When you think about it, Morrissey's lyrics would suck a lot of the time if sung by anyone else. His delivery is unmistakeable. Speaking of which, I believe a bunch of emo and wankrock bands are doing an album of smiths covers. Not even a good band should be allowed to cover the smiths. I personally take offense that they would do this to me.
  19. Have the rolling stones killed.
  20. Knock on Chris Martin's door and run away. It'll probably tip him over the edge. Twat. Just record an album with The Atoms Of Punishment and tour. We'll have the time of our lives when it finally happens.
  21. Wire - 99.9
  22. Heard about this the other day. A shit day commenced.
  23. I haven't heard Busted's cover of Black Eyed Peas' 'where is the love?' yet but knowledge of it's existence keeps me awake at night.
  24. Tom Waits - Heartattack and Vine. I've heard this referred to as his best work, and that is horseshit. Obviously you could never call it BAD, but along with 'Foreign Affairs' it hasn't wowed me in the way the others did. I guess it's his most accessible. 'Alice' continues to be diabolically underrated, as does 'Blood Money' to a lesser extent.
  25. Yeah, however dumb the entrance is gonna be, taker's got it made. As long as they don't go over the top with all the lightning bolts and stuff during the actual match, that'll ruin it.
