  1. MVP of the year : Eddy Guerrero Match of the year : Angle/Benoit, Royal Rumble Raw wrestler of the year : Chris Jericho Smackdown wrestler of the year : Eddy Guerrero Rookie of the year : Charlie Haas Tag team of the year : World's Greatest Tag Team Feud of the year : Hmm, I can't think of a single one that's impressed me that much, Angle/Benoit didn't have a strong backstory, HBK/Jericho wasn't built up well at all before the match and Guerrero's character has been great but I can't think of a feud that stands out. I'll Go HHH/Goldberg by default, just cos Goldberg's managed to keep the belt away from him, and he's entertained me in the process. I can't believe it either. PPV of the year : Wrestlemania XIX Storyline of the year : Kane unmasks (Though it turned into my worst of the year, they were sitting on a goldmine there) Announcer of the year : Tazz by default
  2. They better cryogenically freeze Charlie Watts. Unless they already have, and are using an animatronic version for this tour.
  3. XTC's overlong, fizzling-out-one-trick-pony MASTERPIECE English Settlement. Where's that Go 2...
  4. Rhyno. Obviously the neck injury factors into it, but man, he isn't allowed to do ANYTHING anymore. I'll say this though, he's the only active wrestler who's actually doing a GOOD spinebuster at the moment, so it's not all bad. And on a sidenote, what's the excuse for that? If Arn Anderson can still do one and time it perfectly with one hand, and you've got him available to demonstrate it, why all the shite versions of the spinebuster?
  5. I don't think enough of us have been banned. I think we should have sweeps, like banning everyone with a certain number of vowels in their name on one day, then banning everyone who's post count is divisible by 347 on another, and soforth. Like a lottery. That might shake things up a bit.
  6. I've spun English Settlement a few times now, and the main problem is for an album where all the songs have a common theme, it's just too fucking long. Thus, it's very good but Nonsuch still kicks the shit out of it, and I actually think there's better material scattered over Mummer, Black Sea and Drums and wires as well.
  7. Songs that I currently struggle to only listen to once. Pulp - Do you remember the first time? (SHEFFIELD PRIDE~!) Sparks - Profile The Residents -Blue Rosebuds Wire - Ex Lion Tamer The Birthday Party - Release The Bats, Hamlet (POW POW POW), Loose Sisters of Mercy - Marian, Some kind of stranger
  8. Ash are one of the worst bands ever. Do not bother. I can admit 'Girl from Mars' and 'Kung Fu' were ok, but it's almost funny how much worse and unimportant they seem to get.
  9. PLAGIARISM!

    Happy?

I guess. The bigger picture fucking sucks, but I'm livin practically rent free, getting shitfaced all the time AND I'm keepin a job. And I have a residents keychain that I Simply Adore.
  10. Yeah, the feud leading up to the match is more why people sight it as so great rather than the match itself, I sometimes feel. Not that it doesn't rule. I will say this though, I prefer Rock/Austin WMX7. Seriously.
  11. Sisters of Mercy - First and last and always.
  12. The inclusions of Waits, Frank Black and most importantly for me, the Richard D James LP mean I've seen a lot worse. The best utter waste of time that's been produced thus far.
  13. It won't last, but it will happen.
  14. Butthole Surfers - To Parter Oh fucking yes.
  15. Tom Waits - Coney Island Baby is a good one, but he's done countless others.
  16. Nah, pepsi's all gas.
  17. I used to drink it all the time as a kid. I got a hankering for some about now, actually. And I'm all outta gin.
  18. We shall see. You seem to change your favourite one all the time.
  19. I'm not going to advocate Dreamer winning the royal rumble or anything, but he's shown he can still get the crowd into the hardcore stuff, and I can't understand why they killed the HC title the minute they put it on him, he could have had a good run before they retired it.
  20. I just never got the big deal about English Settlement, but I seem to agree with you on all the rest except Go 2, so I'll dig it out.
  21. Wire - 'A Touching Display'. My God they're underrated.
  22. Oh for God's sake, I like Cena well enough but who in the hell buys him headlining PPVs over Brock and Benoit? give it a bit of time for him to morph into a more serious face (modernised Sting) first.
  23. Sparks - 'Lil' Beethoven' Most most original, accessible and best album of 2002.
  24. Yeah, the Primus version, as you can imagine, is, well, far removed, but it's a good song. Primus covered 'Scissor Man' (from the same album, Drums and Wires) for 'Rhinoplasty' as well.
