Those are some very good points WC, and I am an advocate of reinstating the LHW division. I know it has been frustrating not being able to go against cruisers, but it's not because of the LHW title. It's mainly because there are hardly any cruisers in the fed. We have a small roster right now, so it's just going to be tough to find cruisers to go up against. I haven't chimed in yet, but that second paragraph of yours, Ejiro, is exactly the point. If you don't like the multi mans, or any match for that matter, that CC tends to use to sort things out...make your own by doing angles and feuds. CC will be more than happy to oblige because it results in them having to do less work, which is the idea. You're supposed to control your own destiny, and the only time CC has to intervene is when you're not doing anything. Secondly, I agree with one point Ejiro made, which is that every contendership match does not have to have 3 or 4 people in it. You can just pick two top people and have them fight for a contendership, and you don't have to feel bad about leaving people out because they'll get their chance too. I have noticed a lot of contendership matches being 3 and 4 way matches, and you don't have to do that. You can just use two people...and if you feel you're leaving people out, then once the first match winner has gotten his shot, have another contenders match. However, to CC credit, a multi man is an ideal way to great buzz over a title and it's an easy way to make a decision on who has earned a shot. Sometimes it's tough to decide which two people, and the easiest way to not have to make that decision is to do a multi man. I challenge CC, however, to go out on a limb and just pick two people. I doubt anyone will really complain too much, at least not in public. That's all... Oh, and I don't think it's a problem if someone clearly states that they are not going to write a particular match, for whatever reason. I think it's our right as a writer to decide if we going to write a match. I think it's actually good that we're telling CC we're not writing (although it could be behind closed doors), instead of just no showing. Certainly, we should be in a situation where people are only writing matches that they "like", but how is saying you won't write a match because of its gimmick-ness different from saying you're not writing due to time or illness or what have you? There's not much except that the bookers feelings might be hurt because someone doesn't like his match. They'll get over it though. I think when it comes to super-gimmicked matches (which I have no problem with personally, but speaking from a general perspective), people should have the right to not write them if they don't feel the match is appropriate or if they just don't feel like it. The same would hold true for comedic matches as well. I think you'd have to face the consequences of not writing (like being bumped down the card or not getting that title shot you wanted), but it's still your right to do so, and you shouldn't have to deal with public ridicule for it. ::tingles with anticipation:: Oooo! I can't freaking wait for this PPV! To be honest, I've been back for a few months now, but this is the first PPV match that I've truly been looking forward to. I've kind of just been going through the motions lately...trying not to no show, but with that second match against Francis, I am starting to feel it again. And I'm totally juiced to write this match...and then, read all the other outrageous matches on the card. More than anything, I'm interested in that main event...and a close second is Va'aiga vs. Janus...talk about beefy! I'd like to get into that match myself if I could... Should be good fun people. Much love again to WC! I think we should just make these Holt reports our comments thread for the show. I'm boosted that I got the second biggest heat, although, I don't think that would have happened like that unless it was off camera. In my match, HVT was getting over as a face, and they really didn't have a chance to boo Thugg cause Francis kicked the crap out of him. Be that as it may, I still think it works, perhaps when HVT first comes out...but I'm glad that at least one person is seeing Thugg's transformation back into a heel. What I'm more proud of is Francis's #1 pop of the night because I think I had a lot to do with it. Between my match and Mak's promo, I think we did an excellent job selling this angle that we kind of just threw together out of convenience. So, good work there Mak. If at all possible, I'd like to hear some comments about my match, good or bad, mainly because this was the first match I've written since my very first run here, where I was actually excited while writing it. Other Stuff: The ending to the ME was very good, albeit, a bit confusing. Perhaps because I haven't kept up with things like I should, but I couldnt' figure out why Mak came down. Also, the Dace/Matthews thing was very, very nice. I thought, overall, it was a pretty good show, especially considering that we're in a time of year where our roster is thin and people need shows off. Da "good work people...WC rocks!" H

Dude...I wasn't really trying to bust CC's chops for not getting the show up on time. I was actually pointing out that the due times should be earlier, and that I know CC made them later cause people complained. Personally, I don't understand...people complain when the shows don't get up on time, but you complain the due time is too early. I don't understand why, if 5pm EST happens to be 1 in the afternoon for someone, why can't that person just do their match the night before. It's those few people that mess it up for the majority because they can't do their match more than 5 minutes before it's due. Come on guys...CC has it hard enough, why do we make them stay up all ours of the night marking matches and such because we can't manage our time correctly. The due times should be 5pm, giving CC time to mark them and get a show/card up at a reasonable hour, and not have to be up till 4am. They have to work and have lives as well (except maybe Z), and it's not really fair to them. Also, when we make these due times so late, the card doesn't go up until the next day, giving EVERYONE one less day to write. I just think the due times are utterly ridiculous, but I don't blame CC, I blame everyone else. Da "stop being selfish" H
